  1. Nice boat and congratulations! Lund Aluminum boats are the best aluminum boats on the market in my opinion
  2. Hey guys just went to the boat show with my dad and saw the new Lund Fiberglass Lineup and was IMPRESSED! They have the 186 Tyee and Fishermen and then a 206 GL PRO V I beleive and they are nice looking boats! The 206 big model is loaded with gear! 300 HP Merc Verado! 9.9 Kicker, Minn Kota Reverse and Drift Troller on the back never even seen one before, Minn Kota Terrova 101 motor on the front, Lowarance GPS LMS on the front and a Lowrance LCX on the Console! All this for $59,999! Expensive but would you say this is a top of the line Multi-species boat and would you guys recommend a LUND boat? They are brand new on the market and was just wondering what you guys think of them or if you have any insider info on them? Thanks! This the 186 Tyee

  15. Hey guys, First off I would like to thank the extreme angler team for the tips on how to hook into simcoe smallies in this cold weather! Thanks Guys your show ROCKS! Okay here is my report, Went out on simcoe today and the wind was blowing hard right from the start, I was on the water by about 7:30 am and there was a good 3-4 ft chop on the water! My small boat was takin in some water but I battled the waves and dragged tubes in 25-30 FOW and with no luck for about an hour! Then finally the wind started to die down by 9 and I had my first hit, felt like I hooked into weeds didn't even hit hard but I set the hook and fish on! The smallies fight incredibly strong for the cold water! My dad nets the smallie and it turns out to be a 4 lb 6 oz smallie! Nice One! Got the skunk out the boat! Then we continue to fish and about 10 min after I feel a really strong WACK! I set the hook and the fish doesn't move, so I know its a HOG! After a good fight he finally surfaces what a PIG! My dad nets him and it is my best smallie this year! Weighs in at 5lb 4 oz! What a fat fish a true football! After the two nice smallies my dad hooks and lands a couple of chunky 3 lbers and and then after around 10:30 the bite completely shut down! It was really cold today with a NE wind blowing in we were fishing in -2 C with the wind chill! Freezing but the smallies were hot! Great day on the water and hope to head out a couple times more before the season closes!
  16. Thank you for all the tips Karl and Mark, once again you guys have a great show and you guys always catch the biggest bass, can't wait to head out this weekend and hopefully hook into some these bruiser bass! Will post my results Thanks again guys!
  17. Nice FISH! Those are some really big smallies, big fan of extreme angler, was just wondering how deep you guys were fishing and what kind of presentation really works well this time of year for smallies, was planning on heading out this weekend and wondering if dragging tubes is the best method or spoons and cranks will still work when the water is this cold. Thanks for any tips!
  18. I don't know about 2 piece suits but I own a Helly Hansen 1 piece suit that I find is amazing, very warm and I like it even better then some of the mustang suits I have tried on. I got it at Lebaron for $264 I believe and I love the suit and I do a lot of ice fishing! My Helly Hansen is VERY WARM, is a Bright Orange all around VERY VISIBLE, Has a whistle, reflective stripes, a hood for those really windy days, and even suspenders to hold up the suit when I want to take the top part off when its too hot! Great Floater Suit and I recommend it! Here is the link and it lists all the features, http://www.lebaron.ca/pdf_fall_07/clothing...nsen_lectra.pdf
  19. Nice Smallies! Some real fall time footballs! Nice pike as well
  20. Nice report and some nice late fall Bass!
  21. Thank You everyone for all the help I think my dad will definately have the final say and I am starting to see that the Nitro Z9 is not the most practical boat for family use! My dad was actually planning on buying a used boat in the States, he really likes the tundra and I think the only way I will get a Z9 is with my tounrnament winnings LOL jks! Also you guys are right that it is not about the boat its about the fish, and I can catch fish right now and love my legend its just that its too small for our family especially since my grandparents are always out with us on family outings so my dad said we need a big boat with lots of power and I think he is going to go with the tundra after seeing it in action on the water. Thanks again guys!
  22. btw my legend is either a 2002/2003 and it is the V-151 Viper
  23. I know I should feel out the tournament scene with my boat right now but my dad is planning to get a new boat next year anyways so I might as well get a boat that I can use for tournaments in the future. The only problem is that my dad wants a boat that he can use for the cottage as well and he said the Z9 is not practical for the family.
  24. Hey guys Planning on selling my current boat in the Spring and getting a new boat. Nothing wrong with my legend, I have had it for 4 years and no complaints its just not fast or big enough for fishing tournaments I am planning on buying a new boat well actually my dad lol, I really wanted to get the Nitro Z9 but my dad said it is not a practical boat for the family and only seats 3 people. So then he suggested the Tracker Tundra 21 Fishing Team Edition. Which of these two boats would you guys recommend? This boat would be used for family outings to the cottage as well as bass fishing tournaments. Both of them would have the same motors which would most likely be a 250 or 275 mercury verado, so which boat is the best choice and is the verado better then the Optimax engine? P.S Do most tournaments have a motor size limit at 250 HP? Thanks! Here is my current boat the Legend Here is the Z9 Nitro a 21 ft bass boat (the one that I want) Here is the Tracker Tundra 21 ft (the one that my dad recommended)
