Very nice guys

I will be heading up there the long weekend and was just wondering what to expect fishing wise. I know there should be some good Walleye to be had. Not too sure if there is any largemouth I'm this lake. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sweet. They do such a great job.

Went out at about 6:30am and fished till about 2. Fishing action was non stop as soon the jig/minnow combo was down. Plenty of small one's for the first few hours. Probably got about 40-50 of those. Then at about 9:30 the jumbos showed up for an hours or so. Some getting up to 12-13'. Opted to just stay in the one spot. Plenty of ice where i was about 8'. I was only in about 7ft. of water with a little weeds around. Plenty of guys way out. Most were getting just small ones and plenty of them apparently. Be back there soon. Good luck. Pics to follow.

Hit one of those Smallies on a roe bag under Burnhamthorp on Sunday. Thought it was a Bow, then it came leaping with the roe bag in it's mouth. Lol. Quite funny actually that they would hit a roe bag.

Yes, this line really sucks, but a good idea for backing.

It is a great reel for flippin and pitchin indeed. Great choice.

I use 30lb. Power Pro for most applications and have recently went to 20lb. Tracer Braid on a spinning reel for a test. Works great for casting Live Target Cranks, so sensitive and great for long casts. On sale now at CT.

Yep going to grab a few of the Baitcasters on Sat. plus pick up some of those hooks, buy 2 get 1 free, can't go wrong. Those are some great Texis Rig hooks and maybe some Spinnerbaits if there's any left.

If your looking at the bungalows, i believe he may be booked till the end of the season. Day huts should'nt be a prob. And just a heads up, bring some medium minnows if u can, most of the one's he has a pretty big this year.

Not too sure where they were before bud, i don't think they were too far. He likes to keep them somewhat close to his bungalows i guess. We were fishing about 32" of water.

Buddy comes and picks everyone up out there in his day huts between 5-6.

Was out with Shaun(Idyl Tyme) in one of his day huts. They just moved them the day before, got out for about 7am. wanted to make sure we got the morning bite.(seems sometimes thats the only bite of the day) By 9am landed 4 Walleye, 2 in the slot(released quickly), a few perch and 1 herring. Most were had on a jig/minnow. Stuck it out till about 5. Got a few more Perch over the day and thats about it. Yep just a morning bite. Gotta thank Idle tyme once again. They have to be one of the best out there on Nip. On another note was heading up to Sudbury last Fri. on HWY17 and what did i see, a big advertising sign for OFC. Very nice to see. Hope to see more out there.
