Hi all, Picked this up for a few hundred. Starts first pull, very tidy sled. Perfect for the wife this year and for Jack to graduate from his 120cc next year. I think I might be using this little gem too, as it fits into the bed of my GMC Canyon….I can throw it in and out by myself without a snowbank!

I really like the little gun, a buddy gave it to me. It can take a clip but they are hard to come by and mine is missing. It is simple but effective, just like my logic in most instances....lol.

There was frost on the car in the morning and it was 17C in the late morning, love this time of year....NO BUGS!

Ended up taking the trout next door to be put in a smoker, grouse are gonna be a cassoulet now...basically a mixed meat and sausage stew with beans and wine.

Hi all, Went out with the pup on Friday morning after getting the kid on the School Bus. Got myself an old Savage Arms .410 and brought it along with me in the hope of shooting a few grouse on the way. No luck on the Grouse. It was kinda cool because the camper you see in the video that is parked upo by the lake was none other than the guy who ran the PAL course, he is a real enthusiast and conservationist and was delighted to see me out enjoying the outdoors with Roloff, we had a good discussion before I headed off. No birds coming in or out, but landed three nice Splake on a #2 Blue Fox spinner. Tried the slip bobber right off the bat but could not get the hook to stay in. Lost a really nice one and saw quite a few follow the bait in. Sorry Chad….lol….more twangy country/folk music!

Hi all, Shot my first ever birds out by myself using my own gun. Got 3 in all, 1 grouse and 2 spruce hens. They were pretty tame and allowed me to follow them into the bush a fair ways, got really close to all of them. Got some nice splake yesterday so lunch is looking pretty good, got the spruce hens in brine at the moment and a nice wild chanterell sauce to accompany for the ultimate surf and turf! Video has some blood....

Hi all, My boy and myself hit the logging roads after school yesterday to try and get some partridge. We ddi not get any but I took our rods and some bait so we could fish too. Fish we did, and my boy put on a shore fishing walleye clinic! Very good feeling to see my boy enjoying his hunting and fishing so much, only a few more years and he will be out with his own buddies, gonna make the most of this time together, pure gold!

Hi all, Went out with my neighbour in his small tinny the other day. It took us longer to get there than it did to get a limit and that's just fine…win/win! Get to mess around in the great outdoors and experience awesome fishing. I'm pretty lucky to have such a great neighbour, top bloke! PS….Thanks Joeytier for helping me decide where to go that day, your back lake adventures were the inspiration for this one and the reason we tried a smaller lake.
