Yes, fantastic report, beauty fish.

Nice fish. With all the LSC posts, I think I'll need to make a trip down sometime.

Another stellar report Moose. I noticed that you have two rod holders mounted right to the gunwale of your boat. What make are those? I'm looking for something like that for my boat. Are they good and strong for musky? Thanks

Just thought I'd put up one more post and I'll stop after this for a bit. As I said in my last post, my wife has been my number 1 fishing partner for the last 10 years. It's always a competition and now that I look through some pictures, she's caught some impressive fish. These are some of our biggest fish. Keep in mind while looking at the following pictures, I'm 240lbs and she's about 130 so my fish may not look as big as hers but 90% of them are bigger. You can be the judges, Salmon We don't hold them up like this any more. I tail them and support under their heads now. Browns 50" musky 46" Walleye Lakers Brookies Bass Northerns Rainbows

Very cool Trail cam pics. I can imagine the excitement and anticipation of viewing for the first time.

All true except the wife out fishing me comment. We've been together for 10 years now. It's true that over that period of time she has caught more fish than me but for 9 out of 10 years I've caught the bigger fish. Last year she did catch more and bigger but this year I caught a couple 30lbers and her biggest was 22. Sometimes I think she's only with me for my spots! If I was to do it all over again, I would have put my spots in a prenuptial agreement.

Another reason I married my wife. Not only does she love fishing, she was also a rangers fan before we met. Below are a couple pics of our spare bed room.

Where abouts in Mexico? I know a public beach in the Mayan Riviera where there are sea turtles and coral.

Kingsway is on my way home from work. Has been my go to tackle shop for many years now.

Thought I'd throw some pics together of my 2012 fishing season upto now. Got out in the boat over 45 times from April till now and as soon as my broken leg is healed, I'll be out again. My wife is my fishing partner. She has only missed a couple of those 45+ times. Below are some pics in no particular order. Actually, the first pics are from last winter, snorkeling in Mexico. This is only a few of the hundreds maybe thousands of pictures taken this year while fishing, camping or vacationing. After put these few together, I'm realizing that I'm a very lucky guy.

Hey, I actually know a guy named 'Ed Zachery'! No lie!

I agree about this forum bringing together an amazing group of people and I do only post to threads that I feel like posting to. I enjoy reading most posts every few days or so. I just think its a shame that on a 'fishing forum' a guy like Moosebunk puts a report together that could have taken a couple hours, and another guy catches a sturgeon! And myself post pictures of some Brook trout that many people will never see in their lives and only receive 15 replies? Then one of the posse posts about having fish for dinner and he gets 150 replies. It's not a big deal, just seems clique. I for one don't put the effort into posts simply because it seems like no one really cares unless you've been around here for ever. I'm definitely not implying anything negative towards everyone on this forum. I have met a few people and purchased some things from people who are top shelf guys. I just think, if you have time to post 4-6 posts/ day, you should probably say 'hey, nice catch' to those special reports that have something out of the ordinary.

Today is the first time I've felt like part of the family. Thanks
-
That is a beautiful looking place.
-
My first topic to ever get over 15 replies. And by far the worst. Thanks everyone
-
Okay I understand now. Post a topic with pictures of a few fish of a lifetime and you get a handful of replies from the true fishermen who can appreciate what it is. Post some nonsense jibber jabber and everyone throws in their 2 cents. Should be called OCN

I guess what I'm really trying to say is that I think there are a bunch of stuck up people around here that sit around and look at this site all day, every day and get their 4-6 posts on per day and can't even say 'hey, great FISHING report' to the guys that spend who knows how long to put their stories and pics up. I understand that lots of you people are friends but it is a fishing forum/ community and personally, I don't post many pics or reports because frankly, I don't think people care about them as much as their friends getting a new truck or what their friend is eating for dinner or so on and so on.
-
It's definitately a very nice truck
-
Ok, so maybe the sturgeon is a bad example. What about the awesome bass post by Moose who only has 16 replies? And was posted 3 days before?

Yeah, fantastic tune in the vid and nice fish! -
Is this really a fishing forum? A guy catches a 4' sturgeon and gets 27 replies in 3 weeks. Another guy buys a new truck and gets 70 replies in 2 days? Huh?
-
Awesome beard! And fish!

What's the best way to clean my skin mounts ?
trevy727 replied to Muskieman's topic in General Discussion
Randy, I've read somewhere before to spray a bit of windex (window cleaner) on a soft cloth and wipe very gently. Try it on the back side of the mount first as it contains ammonia that may effect the paint if its not sealed good. Use q-tips in the mouth and other tough to get at places.
