Thanks Terry....
Means a lot in our family and while clearing stuff from Mom's farm house yesterday, with my Brother (Gulf War Vet), we found our Father's platoon picture and his service medal from WWII. Neither of which I'd ever seen...
Hill doesn't look that steep in the picture.. why didnt you just carry it up? LOL
Does look shallow...but trust me lads it's a 45 degree or better slope and thankfully the winch cable was 3 wraps longer than needed !
Gonna sight your gun in before next hunt ??
There is no check valve in a bilge pump... take a look and see if you have any low points in the outlet line(s). If not.. all water will drain to the hull and as I noted I put the "waste" antifreeze in there to cover an rain water etc that may get in while fishing from now 'til freeze up. My boat doesn't leak a drop so your mileage may vary on/with water in the hull itself. Bilge pump and lines also won't sink you boat if something breaks.. unlike thru hull livewell pumps and power washer inlets below the water line.
What do we all have with us when we go fishing?
You may just want to talk to your squad leader/CrownA...before you go charging Rambo walking down the road with a knife on his belt. There are no formal knife length carry laws in Canada.. other than the prohibited weapon act.. covering concealed / switch blades etc.
Yep wait 'till 2010 and walk in to CTC or similar and buy your licence. Card, good for three years will come in the mail. If you buy it before New Years... you'll lose a year on the card.
So will I Raf.. so will I !!
But the water in the boat will freeze sitting in the laneway, or hauling it home from your favourite fishing hole, long before the bay goes stiff ! .. and that gets expensive.

Don't want anyone sinking now or in the spring...
Don't do the lawn thatch any good either Billy Bob... but as for blowing onto Neighbours yard from there... I think I'd need a tad more horsepower considering they're 2200 feet away !
