  1. Wouldn't take him any longer than folding my Frabil and starting the sled... hell I'd just pull the pins.. hook a bungee from shelter to the wing strut and drive it to the next spot on the lake..
  2. Have an email buddy in MN that had his wife sew this up for him. SLICK!!!
  3. Good luck Mike!! Terry... thought you were going fishing..
  4. Don't anyone run over to the hospital.. he's on his way home!!
  5. That's the whole idea Mike... it's called a lost leader.. no different than those grocery store sales to get you in and hope you stay..
  6. With Dan ice fishing.. I'm just surprised that is the end facing the bucket!
  7. So many (appreciated) emails and PM's... so little time, so I thought I'd update here. Jen had her 3rd chemo on Wednesday and weighed in at 91 lbs. Again the heavy push variety, like the first chemo, all given in 2 hours + 20 hours of bladder protectant and anti-nausea drips into her portacath.. disconnected and out Thursday shortly after lunch. Needle at 4:30, at her apartment, then we loaded everything up and came home through the mess of snow. So far so good this round, she's still eating fairly well and not feeling sick. Yesterday we awoke to 14" of new snow. Leah had 3 Dr. appointments of her own to get to, so I got Jen breakfast.. took her temperature and then went out to plow snow. About half way thru plowing I hear out of the 2 way radio .. "Dad, I want lunch in the next 20 minutes". Park the truck, make food and then back out to finish plowing. She's fighting some severe bone ache, but other than that getting some fairly decent sleep and being a couch potato. Hopefully she makes it to the next chemo without incident/fever etc. Has an MRI booked for the 21st to get the surgeon a new picture and her next full week chemo is the 26th to 31st. Then we're pretty sure she'll be having her surgery to remove what ever they need to to make her tumour free and then 6 more chemo treatments. Hopefully by late June we'll have her sitting on the dock enjoying some much needed R n R
  8. I went with the "if you can't beat'm join'm" Paul. Sure took care of the winter blahs !!
  9. You'd be fine doing that Mike. One rod and tip up yours and him beside you jigging his own. Even if you put the rod in a holder beside him in the hut you are legal as he's tending the line and will pick up the rod when you yell fish on... no different than us yelling at Terry !! lol
  10. He can have two of his own by the regs.. but can he actually tend them himself? I know at least one here that put his new born baby in a love seat and ran two extra lines on Lake O !!
  11. Camera toast... memory card still loaded and good! Second one.. I almost had it dried out good, but I put it in the oven one more time and fried the digital sensor for taking pictures.. I still use that one as my docking station to download my cards.. there is another one out there in Grey Owl Lake...
  12. Limo service with a shaggin shack in back ! Probably makes good money with that unit..
  13. BUT... you gave all your gear away toooo Rob!! Brian has your PE-1 now...

  15. Some days I find some weird stuff in my garage as well...
  16. I'd be thinkin you sent a message to the wrong guy about a monthly "mag" Splash !
  17. I grew tired of people scratching cars, on purpose, at cars shows many years ago Bill..
  18. I hinted about it in another thread G... but Spiel always being the private type I didn't mention a name. He'll be out ice fishing in no time!!!
  19. Oh.. I could have 100's of pictures of some guy named Terry lying on the ice. Either wiped out.. or thinking he's having a heart attack from pulling the hut by hand...
  20. Eating lunch with a 40lb+ laker on the line!!
  21. Sorry Vince.. I never got a video of Terry running out of his hut yelling.. "DO I STILL HAVE MY EYEBROWS!!"
