  1. Google Lithium ion fires Don! That'll change your mind!
  2. Glen has the right idea... but I'm not sure on Deep Cycles. We are now using AGM's in airplanes (and i have them in my lund for starters) and you can park an airplane in October and just fire it up in June. Not more than 0.1 volt lost over winter storage. You're gonna pay for them though... the ones in my lund were $300 each from West Marine.
  3. ..and the bonus was you didn't have to wait for the geeks at CTC to charge it before leaving the store! lol
  4. I doubt the video.. but even a 30-06 is well within range with a good scope at 1100 yards (3300 feet). Why you never target practice without a back stop !!! 30-06 Springfield (180 gr SP BT) Muzzle Velocity 2700 ft/s Maximum Range 5675 yard, 3.22 mile Impact Velocity 800 ft/s
  5. Guess Sam doesn't read the forum... but if she does...
  6. "Well" nuts or toggle bolts.
  7. Rent a houseboat Shayne... and we'll all come tie off to it !!!
  8. Not if I suggest it anyhow... it's worked for decades.. it will work this week!
  9. I think the person that locked it "substantiated" it and I'll leave it at that. If Skeeter wants to protect his kid I can't blame him for that, it's what parents do and I don't have an issue with that. You go ahead and go to Lakair next year Dann... I'll stay away and let everyone look after their own dogs!
  10. Thanks for the link Slayer... I like this bow tie
  11. Yep... Chrisk or MM. Either one.. easiest is to go buy a gross of Heinz before Walmart closes...
  12. Sad part... it was ! lol Up hill to the 5 points and then down hill to school.
  13. Generally an air bubble under the transducer does that G. Try lowering it a tad... or clicking it down a notch on the angle adjust.
  14. Maureen.. see Kickingfrogs post... learn to fish this weekend in Barrie..
  15. Quick Maureen... there's your ticket for the Scouts fishing badge!
  16. Considering it was a legally obtainable firearm when it was purchased and also had the firing pin removed.. yes. It was part of a gun collection no different then you collecting tea cups. It isn't any more powerful... actually less powerful, than most high powered hunting rifles. Loss of a $200 gun was valueless, in comparison to the lawyer fees and loss of business thanks to the publicity for an improper/illegal search and seizure of a collection. We lost over a million gross a year in business over this b s.
  17. Okay which is it.. Muskie or no Muskie?
  18. Hey... they were warm to walk the 2 miles to highschool in the winter Brian!
  19. Back already??? That wasn't worth the 100LL to get you there! Nice fishy pics though!!
  20. Really feel sorry for the Customs officer that has to stand out here waiting for him to present his passport! Sure hope they run his credentials in advance and they don't have to bring a laptop with wireless as well...
  21. I wonder if it picked up a Mercer contest coupon in advance of the shooting?
  22. Don't tell that to the stack of ground hogs, racoons and porkies out back !
