SAFETY FIRST my freind.FYI I lucked out with some cash I picked up all the nesc and enough for a hand held radio,Hummingbird.I took my boat out after purchase and many repairs.I was stuck out in LK O.Thank god I picked up a radio, the best ever investment.Whistles and flares did frig all for me.There were 6 other boats out at the same time.The coast gaurd out of port weller pulled me back in to shore As for the rest rest, that asked me after.They can go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.I always keep an eye out for other boaters, and binoculars handy at all times.Cheers to the Port Weller trio.Excelent job,and better service than a tow truck any day.RE 20 ft rinker, fifty point.The first nice saturday last spring. It depends.On my regular users I replace the line religiously,Even if it sat and never been used.On that note, I do save the line and use it on my other reels,esp the ultra lights.

To clarify.I was fishing murky waters,using pickerel rigs.I use the braid as a leader becuse of all the jagged rocks.And on top of that, sorry below that on my pickerel rig, I replace the mono with braid right to the hooks.I only do this when the Gar pike and snapping turtles are around.2 yrs back my bait and hooks were cleaned off after a good hit and a 3 second fight.After I changed up I found out it was the Gar, and not the turtles doing it.The turtles will steal half the minnow.Well the AYR area pond turtles do that.The Caledonia snappers just chase you up the river and bite.AND ITS NOT FUNNY MAN, I THINK THEIR TRAINED!

I havent read all the replies,But I tell you If gar pike and turtles are around, while using a pickerel rig fishing for pickerel.I change up to braided line on the rigs.At times I do use it as a leader line in certain areas.Dont ask,It has saved me a few bucks in lures and the pike or pickerel are not shying away because of it.

12 bucks?At BPS I saw the leader line for 25 plus.I pay 10 for frog hair leader and it stands up in the field.Mind you I only use that with my float set up.As for flouro line I am impressed but at the same time became fustrated over it.i.e nots breaking easily,undoing birds nests(what a horror).AS for fitting a fish with it Im impressed.

Give the guelph office a shout and ask for the supervisor.Im not sure where your from but this guy makes things happen quickly.Lets just say when a CO in his area goofs up, he quickly disciplines them.

Air ride is an excelent choice.Ive installed them on bigger ford p/u s.And the reason or installation was to beef up and smoothen the ride while towing.I have a lincoln with air ride and I tell the truth.It makes for a comfortable ride while towing,mind you the rear end sways a bit,but a nice ride.

Sometimes?I think they go after their own reflection from the windshield. I had a few hit mine and flew away.What a scare I tell you.As for your being ill,probably ate some rd side kill that was going bad.

Every time I went by in the winter, the mnr would have the entrance at 35 closed.And in the spring they would close the road due to flooding about a mile in.

I wouldnt doubt it.3 attempt in with no luck.the 4rth finally made a trek in until the rd was so bad that my cherokee wanted to turn around.I went in with a 79 impala,a little toyota tercel 5 speed hatchbck, and a 79 mustang 4 banger.I finally had a true 4 by 4 and had a blast.Oh and my impala made it through the first water over the rd pass, If you know the area, about a click in.

Has anyone fished it?or even made it to the end of the rd?I took my oldest daughter last year and went about 6 miles in.Went back out and registered a campsite with the mnr.I treked all the way back and wanted to go further.Safety conscious me parked at the site and didnt want to explore any further.Ive seen guys go by but the rd was getting fragile.Anyway me and my daughter had a blast, and few close deer and bear calls,all in all it was truely awesome.FYI to all, the picture under my name,well thats where we camped out.I cant remember the name of the lake,but when I do I will post.

your darn right my freind.Our area was clearly marked, an 80 ft round section on simcoe at IBP.I made it perfectly visible.All tip ups were at the outer edge, and us walking about.Too bad Idont throw a snowball as fast as a sleds max.If I could then there would be a dozen of idiots rethinking what they were doing.
