Good to hear that spiel! Years back a friends dad mentioned there was to be a down turn for the worse in bronte, thats if we didnt react promply,that was 22 yrs ago!I did my part! He was in fustration at the time! Kudos to him and all his hard work!Hes done a lot for all of us in these local gems!

Splicing the cable will void waranty if any!Or may short out your unit. Pete! I asked the same question a few yrs back,it wont work!But thats what they say to save their butt!

Not sure about the ducers,but all the plugs should be the same.I use my old hum100 base and power cable for my 535 portable. Call lebarons,they have a decent stock and on the packages its labelled,which ducers are compatible with what units. Since you brought it up,Im going to try my 100 ducer on my 535 unit,and see what happens!If it works,im using it for ice fishing! as a spare!

I think its every 4 or 5 years for the big run,everyother year its a tiny run!But I cant recall the year I was out there last,when the big run was in!I just love how they fight,fast and furious!Tough little buggers too!!!!!

I had an awesome day today!A little tired now, but it was well worth it! Ryan, my youngest,was happy as can be for her new night gown and lures! Thanks Ryan(and wifie) for welcoming all of us to your home BTW,the spread was awesome!Why wasnt there any fish on a platter to be served?Being that we are all fisherman/fishergals! HMMMM!

I havent been out for them in quit a while,actually years!The last time out its was awesome,they were fiesty and furious,an unbeleivable experiece I may add.It was the year for them in the trib! Ive scoped around and didnt see any nor here of anyone catching any! Are they still there in an abundance?Or is it a chance of luck to have one nibble the line these days? Or is everyone tight lipped as back then? Pm me if you like,dont wanna give out the holes for these gems!Cause i know were they used to venture!

True, we all are somehow guilty of something or other!As they are the only access as well as lakeside restaurant to the lake,a little respect can go a long way!

Trickle charge the battery over night, remove the surface charge then bring it to a ctc or parts source for a load test(its free), also check the alternator output,should be 13.5v to 14.5v,Any higher or lower,Alternator is shot. Another thing I came across a while back,new battery dying in a new vehicle.A lady checking her doo and make up and forgeting to close the lid on the visor mirror! Or a starter positve cable is rubbing on the frame or engine(seen that a million times)!

Okay Guys, ive ranted as well as others on my last thread.I havent heard from GRCA at all! BUT! I spoke to a co worker today,he is very good freinds with the owners of the ski instructors(i wont mention names) and he has donated to the fish a thon as well! He is a ski instructor as well there! I approached him and ask what the pro blem was with fisherman and them! Well, the problem lies with the that dont respect private property and what this school has to offer.People are paying good dollars and I understand that.As for the fisherman, like us, some have abused what they offer(boat ramp and access). I had a good chat about this with my co worker,Some people(fisherman) are tying off to bouys,anchoing off on some of their runs(there are three of them).Leaving junk around esp when ice fishing is in season! He has donated to the fish a thon before I approached him about this issue! He has also apologized to me personally, about my discomforts in a canoe and to my group,US,OFC community. So an official apology has been made to me and my group(OFC)by the instuctor at Mcclintocks!Keep it clean and respect each others space! Im glad that I brought it up and so was he! And if your hungry theres a great restaurant next door! I used to fish while waitng for my order,a little tip went a long way Im glad I brought it up,all ends well for us respectful fisher guys and gals!
