I see this as a total plus!! For fisherman and Buisness owners. As for the people that dont like it, they have a choice/Live with it or move on. Its the Law now so get over it. First year you may get some people that may not know about it so carry a copy of the regs and be nice and show them. If your going to put a hut up and leave it out make sure you get a number from the MNR. I use to have a shack and found it better to leave it unlocked that way i never had to repair the door or window. Leave nothing in it and 99% of the time you will find it in the same shape you left it. Get to know the local cottage owners in the area that you fish. Drop off a fish or two for them if they like to eat fish. I have found that being nice is always better then getting in a huff with cottage owners. If you see garbage left on the ice and its not yours pick it up dont give people a reason to say this is a bad Idea. Just my 2cents worth

The Gaf as you call it is a fish holder.Think of it as your third hand. I use it to keep hands out of the gills and allows me to pick the fish out of the next with no harm to my hands or the fishes gills. it goes in behind the gill plate and stays to the outside of the gills. alot of people pick fish up by the gills but when he fish starts to thrash 1 drop it or drab harded sometime doing damage. this tool stops all that. I will not let people put hands in the gills of fish we are letting go. Fish comes first!! hope that helps.

Like always a trip based on good times and friendship with the fish being a by product. Its to bad that the fish were on fire all week but to slow down for fri,sat,sun. I can never say enough about the friends I have made from the board. When you have 3 of the biggest jokers on your boat for 3 days it does make for some good laughs. Joe I had a blast friday night, thanks for the drops mmmmmmmmmmmmm . Hard water is just around the corner and im sure we will all be hooking up real soon once again for a I'm not Terry/Joe fishing trip lol

Well i'm sitting on the boat tided up at the dock with a brown pop looking at the stars. this is going to be a GREAT WEEK . My cell is on if any one needs to get ahold of me. with the way the moon is going this should be a great weekend for fish. And if not Im sure the company this weekend will make up for it. So looking forward to seeing the guys again. Dan keep that stinky cheese at home lol Well going to pop a movie in and relax see you all soon

One of the biggest things I see and hear from people is that they fish deep. Fish may be deep but the thing to remember is fish always look up.Its better to fish 10 to 20 feet above them at times and have them come to you. Active fish will rise 20 feet no problem to hit a bait. It does not always work but for me 80% of the time. Also its the best way to ensure they dont get the bends. If i have clients that want to keep a big fish I have no problem going below 25-30 feet but if they dont want I never go below no matter how slow the fishing is. To kiil a big fish for the sake of putting a client in fish is way to high a price to pay for me. I teach all my clients that how important it is to not fish in the kill zone unless you plan on keeping that fish. I also never put a fish on a scale if its a catch and release fish. One fast pic with the camera ready before fish is in the boat to save on fish out of water time then back into the water. I try and never let clients hold fish by the gills always try and cup under the fins to ensure no damage is done. I have a tool i use to help in lifting the fish that stays away from the gills and allows me to pass off the fish with no harm to its gills. If any one needs help with set ups or baits I will try and help you out as much as I can. ill be on the water from wed till sunday working lots of water and trying some new baits I got sent to me for testing. My boat will be leaving at 6:15 so see me before or at the end of the day. I'm on B docks. Hope everyone has a great time and look forward to meeting lots of people this weekend. COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER FISHING WEATHER ON SUNDAY. FISHING IN A T-SHIRT AND LOTS OF FISH TO BOOT. FISH WERE ON SUNNY WEATHER PATTERN AND THEY HAD THE FEED BAG ON BIG TIME.

Well you can look at it this way, We will all be on the water together.

its the only job you can have be wrong 90% of the time and keep your job lol That is way to far to say anything about wind. most times 1 to 2 days its not bad any farther nost times its wrong!!

yes landed 5 and lost 2

my boat is set with 1.5' higher bow. I set it up this way so that i dont have that probem. but when a wave is deep and you are down on a 45 the wave wins every time as it breaks
