Great to see you got into them. It was a great weekend with sunday being the big day. Fish had the feed bad on big time!! I was looking for you but you were miles further down then me.

for the last 9 years i have started last week of sept and have found big fish. some days more then others. you have to adapt to the water and bait and fish. fishing november is a good time but also a peak time for lots of boats and stupid boaters. right now you can troll for the most part with out having boats cut you off. well almost lol last week had a guy under power stop 100 feet infront of boat with both my planer boards out and start to jig. after half a can of my air horn he looked up and gave me a look like what am i in your way lol lol The thing most people forget is fishing is about the hunt and trying to figure out the pattern for the time of year. November is one of those months that not much figuring is needed because fish seem to be in the same pattern for the most part year after year with a feed bag that is huge.

more fish are killed for just eggs this time of year and thrown away so if a guy wants to eat fish good for him!!!If people have a problem with catch and kill why flame a guy that enjoyes eating fish???? Good fishing!!

best tip i can tell you is dont jig lol and try and troll away from boats. schools are spooky right now and if you find some troll away from them and come back around to them after you left them alone for a bit. to many passes seems to shut them down. Im on B docks if you want to hook up and talk

well if 10-12 lbs are small then i would like to see what hogs are lol big fish have been hitting for the last couple weeks. just have to learn the pattern for early fall hogs.

Well my two cents is,if they did not want you to catch them they would not stock them. And as for most catching a fish well once salmon get into shallow water the odds on him opening his mouth in the act to hit the bait is about 15% Once salmon hit the shallow water they are not in a feeding mood anymore. Im sure lots will tell me lots of people catch them in shallow water but in fact the line catches them first followed by the hook. If those salmon would only keep the mouth closed it would make it hard to line them. Anyways im all for catch and release and aslo for catch and kill. As long as they follow the rules set out by the MNR then no harm no foul. They have as much right as anyone to catch fish and if it makes the guy or gal go home with cash or a prize for doing so I tip my hat to him or her. I'm sure im going to get lots of flack on this but again its my 2cents

Im so glad you got to enjoy a trip out with him like that. it was the same for me 3 years ago with my dad. I got to spend the week before fishing with him and then gone the next. Keep your chin up and remember all the good times you enjoyed with him. My Deepest Condolences Lloyd
