Sounds like they were fishing with a commercial type net....is that legal for sport fishing?

I wasn't sure if thats what he was asking... But yes, getting caught with open beers in your boat is just as bad as drinking beers in the car on the drive to the cottage

When I was just over 16 I got caught fishing without a license...I was moving from Arkansas back up to Ontario; and as our last get together everyone went fishing....we had a great time...didn't even get a bite.....but on the way out we got a $500 USD ticket each and the guy even threatened to take all of our stuff....someone was on a power trip. I learned my lesson....that ticket would of probably paid my fishing license fee's till I was into my 30's lol.... Live and learn right!

I'm not plumber, but I know you can get one of those one way valves for the sinks drain pipe. This way water goes down, and vapors coming up would be trapped. (probably the red green solution)

I am a pretty basic fisherman, maybe I have golden hands but all I use are some sinkers, eagle talon hook, and a worm. Cast and retrieve slowly. You might just be fishing at the wrong end of town, like people the fish hang out at all the good spots! Usually where they aren't bothered by anyone and lots of things to eat! Hopefully that helps!

I'm a big fan of just using a smaller hook (not too small) with a 1/3 of a worm (i like to hide all of the hook and knot except for the tip) and about 2 feet up two little weights. Then just cast, wait for it to sink a bit, and then reel in fairly slow! Hope you have some good luck!

I looked it up once but how does the back open up on one of those things again? Looks crazy! I was looking into a new car and did check these out...but I ended up with a used minivan! My cheapness got the best of me!
