  1. Sarcasm is tough to read over the internet, but I did add the wink hahah! But ya.. I'm hoping to get into some bass the new gear! Hopefully make some reports like yours hahaha! Parry sound September 4th...the anticipation is killing me!
  2. There is a free conservation park in my "city" and others around the Niagara Region are around $4.00 I plan to check most of them out before the end of the summer.
  3. Welcome to the club! It's the best thing in the world! Better than reeling in a 6.6 Lbs bass
  4. As long as the credit card comes back authorized you can get one for Homer Simpson....
  5. How are people killing fish by drop shotting? I just grabbed the gear and I'm gonna give it a shot! I wanted to know how to kill the fish
  6. LOL! I used to live in Arkansas, so you're not far from the truth right there!
  7. Maybe you should edit your post to the correct story and apologize.
  8. He quoted your post...which said "myself" thus indicating you are by YOURSELF! Nothing in your post states you are fishing with someone else... Either way, if MNR saw you cast a rod, then pick up another rod and cast...its 100% ILLEGAL! Know your facts before you try to change the subject and sound really ignorant.....
  9. I haven't been to a conservation area that isn't catch and release.....
  10. DOUBLE-mint gum! Catch the reference?
  11. He gets a thrill from posting illegal activities on the internet!
  12. Damn...nothings hit Fort Erie yet...but I do hear the rumbles over the TV... Better go get my flash lights...damn power always goes out here
  13. That must suck! If I had a boat I'd offer to take you out! hahaha.... My free boat plans fell through...hopefully I can find a good deal while I'm up in Parry Sound!
  14. Is that a man or a woman? lol
  15. I work the same hours as my local place....the big box places are the only ones I can make it out to!
  16. Nice fish Cudz, you always make me jealous!
  17. Grimy looking, nice catch!
  18. Cosmo watches my house when I sleep! Sorry to hear about your luck! Hopefully you have insurance!
  19. Here is a picture of the first pike I have ever caught! I have zero measurements/weight but its nothing to be ashamed of! I look forward to catching some more of these come September when I hit up Parry Sound again! Mini-report : I fished a local pond this morning...zero bites/zero fish! I was only out for about 2 hours and I was fishing from shore. I can't wait to get back up north and hopefully get my boat! I got my boaters card today, but I still wont have to register or license my boat! I can barely contain myself!
  20. That's what I figured. Thanks for the info!
  21. Didn't Forest say "stupid is as stupid does"? I lol'd!
  22. "Boat Licence Number A pleasure craft licence is the set of identification numbers displayed on a boat. All pleasure craft powered by an engine 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) or more must be licensed, unless they are registered." I wont need to get a license for the boat, since the motor will be under 10 HP. "Boat Registration Every vessel other than pleasure craft must be registered." I wont need to register the boat because its a pleasure craft. I guess my only real question is does a trolling motor count as a motor?.....Since its not man powered I guess it would be? Maybe I'll have to call someone, I know if I call a boating exam place they will tell me anything to get the cash out of my bank! Again, I'm only asking these questions because I am really new to boating! (never owned one...I can count how many times I've been in a boat on my hands...)
  23. That is very admirable of you! It's nice to know there are other genuinely good people out there!
  24. When do I need to get a card? The Competency of Operators of Pleasure Craft Regulations require operators of pleasure craft fitted with a motor and used for recreational purposes to have proof of competency on board at all times. These requirements are being phased in over ten years (see table). http://www.tc.gc.ca/marinesafety/debs/obs/...eratorfaq.htm#d http://www.tc.gc.ca/marinesafety/debs/obs/...man_powered.htm <--- if there is NO motor there is no need to have a card. Does an electric trolling motor count as a motor? I guess it does have the word motor in it...
  25. Haven't seen any advertising, thus why I asked the question. What about registration? I know I don't have to license it since it won't have a motor.
