-
don't know much about those headsets but i know future shop has a large selection of them.
-
i know eh?! this came into effect about a month or two ago its quite rediculous sometimes the nice lady only charges me just the base 9 bucks , but regardless they should keep what you said in mind, but i think theyre just trying to sell more passes because every single time iget nagged about the pass! and as for the perch derby, should be a fun time but i expect that it will be absolutely packed in the marina.

they now charge you 9.00 and an additional 4.50 per passenger in the car

I have been targetting largemouth at my basshole and they have completely turned off. My hot baits this year have been salted tubes, topwater frogs, and some hardbaits like original floaters fishing them pretty much topwater with little jerks to get them down and let it float back up. As it began to get colder the fishing just got worse and worse for weeks until yesterday i had failed to catch any fish on the baits listed that i swore by at this spot until i tried senkos recommended to me buy a man working in a tackle shop that i frequently go to. Is the feedbag done or has it yet to begin? Yesterday i was trying out the senkos and they seemed to go for them a bit. Had a bunch of takes but only one hook up which turned out to be a 2 pound largie. A while back i had a chance to speak with someone that was fishing there who said he was a pro (forgot his name) , he pulled up to me in his boat and we began to talk, as he was leaving he handed me out a bunch of tackle like red eye shads, a bunch of strike king cranks and a jig and pig. He said that i would do well on the jig and pig in fall (november more specifically). I have been having trouble catching as well as probably finding these bass and am looking for some tips as to how to locate fish this time of year and what baits they will be more willing to strike. I should mention this is a shallow body of water which has lots of weed cover and lillies by the shore a lot of the vegetation has since died and now it seems to be a whole differnt ball game for me, i have figured out the senko thing and am in love, does anyone have any reccomendations for jig and pigs and what kind of trailer i should use(or your preffered trailer jignpig combo that you have success on) also how do u fish them never really felt like i was using it correctly, i have since lost the one that was given to me. Lastly what are some of the hot baits for these fish, I am assuming that at this time they would go for a slow presentation rather than a faster one. Thanks in Advance I am heading back out tonight again with my buddy so hopefully ill have a report for you guys with some pictures. Bassmaster

my buddy eats bullheads from hamilton harbour, hes fine (maybe not in the head) but no mutilations that i know of, but some of these bullheads have some serious mutilations like giant tumors and missing eyeballs, extra fins etc.

compared to the fish or from what i can see in the picture that pike had himself a big meal! Ill leave the frogs for the pike.

hahaha same here thats a pretty interesting article wonder what will happen -
ouch looks like my buddy is right, this wouldnt stop me from buying another fenwick or st. croix, keep in mind i was not judging st.croix rods just because my triumph broke. Thanks for everyones input! keep the replies coming i am interested in hearing more opinions.
-
I recently picked up a fenwick HMG 6'6 ML spinning rod at a local tackle shop and i am happy with my purchase,my buddy has been telling me that st. croix rods are far more superior in quality to the fenwick rods.(i tend to disagree but i have no problems with st. croix and would gladly buy another) I was an owner of a St.Croix triumph that snapped while fighting a pike (mainly my fault). I was just wondering about your guys opinions on st. Croix rods vs. fenwick rods which company would you rather go with or what is your personal preference and why? Thanks in advance bassmaster4

get anything at belwood?
-
I wouldnt waste my time at guelph lake unless i had a boat, dont know about puslinch either you should do fine at the dam with minnow and worms, you'll probably get some catfish or rock bass if nothing else co-operates.
-
hopefully the "thick" has yet to come
-
i cant believe how much of a traitor you are, its not about the players its about the team, you gotta stick it through the thick and thin broooo thats saddening p.s this season is your opportunity to come back to leafs nation seeing as the sens are in for a rough year!

i was pulling my hair out during the first thinking here we go again but they really turned it around in the 2nd and 3rd despite being outshot 30-18 reimer stole this one(although we didnt play too bad at all), but hey im sure any leaf fan will take it. Unlike other years i have a renewed optimism about this season not thinking their gonna win the cup, hoping for a playoff berth finally though, that would sure be nice. GO LEAFS GO!

when do they start fattening up guys? I've been fishing this spot for a while now at different times of year and all of the largies ive caught there are skinny like this one. Thanks for everyones input and compliments
-
Yea! it had a huge yap
-
Definately helped me hook it Mike. It basically started fighting me right away. I couldnt tell you how many times ive ripped the bait right out of the fish's mouth when it explodes on it, i guess it's the adrenaline rush that makes people get too anxious while setting the hook. Thanks

Caught this last friday on the live target hollow body frog. Was working it real slow and real close to shore when this bad boy enhaled it, was pretty strange because it didnt even disturb the surface i just noticed my frog was gone then i hooked it and it took me for a bit of a ride. I dont have a weight on it but i was thinking around 6 pounds (correct me if you think im wrong). Well here are the pics. Thanks for viewing. Bassmaster

what happens to the plastic left in the water?
bassmaster4 replied to whitbyboatguy's topic in General Discussion
i think that lost hard baits due to snags would pose a bigger problem -
you can watch it for free tonight at mapleleafs.com
