i dont know if this ban was for the gogama region but a bait shop there sold 8 inch long minnows for 1.50 each and this was last summer if it was in that region then i guess it was ilegal.

ill stick with this one i liek the feel of the rod and ill just get a different reel when this one screws up

thanks for that i was gonna replace it before soft water season if it was crap because my last rod and reel combo, the reel was a disapointment

So i bought that Ugly Stik rod and reel combo i was talking about earlier in the week and the reel it came with was a shakespeare 3500. Is the reel any good? Does anyone have any past experience with it they would like to share either positive or negative? Thanks for any info. Bassmaster4

Hey, I havent posted in a while but i was at C.T today and i saw a pretty nice ugly stick rod and reel combo but left it on the rack figured id ask first before i pay the 50 bucks. Has anyone had any problems with them and how are they?
