  1. There is no indication that the bass was kept. And even if he did, it's within his rights and certainly none of your business. Get a life, man.
  2. Awesome report Johnny! That is one heck of a day!
  3. That is one big muskie! Thanks for a great report!
  4. Loved walleye when I tried it for the first time last year. Haven't caught any since then though.
  5. Nice bass! That's a whole lot better than my last year's cottage trip--a grand total of zero bass landed, and I'm never going back there!
  6. 53 bass will make anyone's day, especially mine!
  7. Great report and pictures! Very nice bass there!
  8. Cliff doesn't need any help. He has the divine power and, more importantly, Bly next to him!
  9. An article from the Globe and Mail, not exactly known as a commie newspaper: Globe and Mail Article
  10. The American health care system has the best doctors, the latest medical technologies, and the most state-of-art facilities that money can buy, and the operative word here is money.
  11. Great report! Looks like you had some decent smallie action; thanks for sharing it.
  12. That is one disturbing news. Never imagined such things could be going on in this age and time.
  13. Hope you'll be back to yourself asap.
  14. Someone has been busy!!! Congratulations on your catch of lifetime!
  15. Great report; thanks for sharing!
  16. Curly tail, eh? Never imagined it would top the ranking.
  17. Switching to baitcaster was the best thing I ever did. That, and the flouro leader for pike, both of which were learned courtesy of this board.
  18. It's just that I noticed a huge difference when fishing for smallies with a flouro leader, and so I figured the same would apply to largies as well. Good to hear that largies don't mind PP, as mine is rather discolored and you could probably see it from the moon! Thanks for the input, kemper.
  19. For those of you who use fluoro leaders for bassing, what test line do you guys use? This year I began using 8 lb fluoro leaders on 30 and 40 lb Powerpro main lines, and while it has worked great on smallies in relatively uncluttered water, I've snapped the leader on quite a few largies in thick cover. Is moving up to 15 lb good enough, or should I get heavier (or lighter) leader?
