Christmas Story and Vacation - more recently Elf.

Havent tried them, but I just looked them up, they look great! I may have to test them out sometime.

Spinner baits are my favorite lure on any lake really. They produced most of the big fish at LV too. I have made my own spinners (#8 blade) for the next trip. I have some secret colour combos I will be testing this year! To tell you the truth, we didnt use leaders much that trip, didnt have any break offs luckily. But some of those fish were caught while going after walleye. I have started using leaders regularly since then, but at that time I rarely used them for pike, braided line has always held up.

Jon caught a 15lb anchor with 50feet of rope attached while trolling jack lake. (thank god for powerpro, we needed a new anchor)

Lots off the dock! Pike and walleye too. When the wind is blowing into camp, it can be one of the best spots on the lake!

finished at 7957 and level 11 - six poles left on the first try. I never lost a fish or broke a pole somehow...

I use braid exclusively. I have noticed that few fish get away sinc ei made the switch from mono years ago. What i like most is teh easy of use and castability, particularly ona baitcast reel.

Thats a beautiful tree! I would love one that size, but our apartment is small. Ours is a little over 5 feet tall.

Gillian and I just put up our Christmas tree yesterday. Out first ever Christmas tree infact. (tree is Mexico and the BVI are a little costly and hard to come by) At first glance it is jsut like any other Christmas tree... But upon closer inspection there are numerous fishing lures through out the tree And of course, a Mepps spinner... Everyone else have their tree or Festivus pole already?

That last one probably had a girth that was close ot my waiste size for sure! Its a great place, wonderful hosts as well!

He has been away for a while. He is active in other places still.

I have had the pleasure if fishing at Sportamans, and the honor of fishing with TennesseeGuy. Both were rewarding and unforgettable events.
