  1. Tell Earnest Hemmingway that letters are just letters! Terry: LOL!
  2. Are you reffering to my other tattoo or my gone fish'n'
  3. Mishfish: Now thats extreme! Awesome! Fang: I had this once planned since before you and I spoke about tattoos that day on Lake O. Here's a link Joe (a word of caution to those who havent seen it, its graphic!) Love at First Bite
  4. Most shops, expecially in Toronto are very clean, there are code they need to meet to stay open! One of the cleanest I've seen is Waycool Uptown in Toronto north of the 401. As long as you arnt getting a tattoo from your neighbors cusins nephew in his basement apartment, you shouldnt worry abotu dirty needles. I've be WAY more concerned about getting a piercing at a place like Shoppers Drugmart (or anywhere they use those piercing gunds - they cant be sterilized!!!!!!!) Thats EXACTLY what I'm saving my back for!
  5. I got it in Halifax at Sin On Skin. Whopper: I've still got all my digits...for now!
  6. Roy: I'll get that McD's tattoo as soon as tehy give me a check for a million bucks!
  7. I've had this tattoo planned for a few years now, and my wonderful fiance offered to pay a big chunk of it as an early birthday present this year. I think these two words sum me up pretty well, you'll probably see the same to words on my grave stone.
  8. If the boy dont wanna fish, dont take him fishing. Just fish without him. At some point in his life he'll either ask you to take him fishing again - and if that day never comes then I guess he was never cut out to be a fisherman. Then again, I convinced my fiance to like fishing, and shes a VEGETARIAN!
  9. I Rich, just saw the Megaforce at Canadian Tire today for $79 - I dont understand how the reel is $20 more in Cananda then it was in the US.
  10. Nice catch!! Get some heavier line for next trip
  11. I only went once last year, but in 2005 and 2004 I was there constantly - you look familiar!
  12. Similar to my collection, just add 50 or so more spinner baits...
  13. but wont cheap mono just cause more headaches with more birdsnests?
  14. Take your stuff for sure! There should be some pike, bass and carp around for sure. There are big bass that hang out under teh docks. Heres some info from my trips to Toronto Islands - http://www.fishingfury.com/categories/plac...oronto-islands/
  15. The Credit River is a great choice for sure, but I think Danbo has it right, if you are near teh falls you can find great fishing it St Catherines!
  16. I gotta disagree about using mono over braid for learning too. I find it easier to undo a birdsnest with braided line. Mono wil stretch/break easily if you try and undo those nest witha hard pull, braid usually can be untangled by applying steady pressure.
  17. I've got 3 baitcasters right now, a Shimano Calcutta 251, a Quantum Cabo PTS31, and a Daiwa Megaforce MF100TSHL. Of the three reels, the Megaforce is the cheapest by far at $60USD at BPS. I've been using this reel for 2 months now and I cant say enough good things about it. Havent used it for pike, but I have caught plenty off smallmouth bass and its been great. As a first baitcast I definetly reccomend this reel, it is the easiest baitcaster I have ever used and is an incredible deal for $60. I had it paired with a Berkly Lightining stick and together they cost just over $100. I honestly believe that you couldnt get a better baitcast combo for the price. If the quality of this Daiwa is any indication of teh quality that Diawa makes, then I'll 100% be buying a Daiwa again.
  18. I'm usually fishing with 1 rod/reel, 1 plyers and 1 spinner bait from shore.
  19. Awesome stuff, those are some serious pike!
  20. Canal lake has several areas along the road. You can find pike and bass in the day, and walleye in the evening.
  21. Look at the mouth on that thing, nice catch!
