I normaly fish the thorah and georgina island areas but would like to try a different area, was thinking the trout/whiskey shoal areas. Would l be thinking in the right direction? TIA

I would think a circle type hook would be better!

I can see the benefits of braid on a baitcaster but I can`t see the sense of it with a spinning reel. I spooled one of spinning reels with braid last year and was have the same problems as you.

Yes seems to be about 50/50 if they are worth the extra coin and if they really catch anymore fish than a regular crankbait or topwater,I am on holiday next week and plan on giving them a good go at Muskoka,Couch,Simcoe,Balsam and Dalrymple stay tuned!!!
