Good for you and keep it up, but a piece of advice don`t let your guard down and get to thinking you have it beat after 2 weeks becuase you don`t if all it took was 2 weeks to kick a nicotine habit everybody would be smoke free. Glen is correct the regs are clear, you can fish musky with a conservation license. The biggest problem with this urban myth is the people that should know the law don`t, instead they convey their own opinions instead of sticking to the law. The biggest offenders are the police, last year on Scugog I was approached for a spot check and after my boat passed the check he inquired if we had caught anything and I mentioned my son had caught a musky and thats when the officer informed me that it was illegal to fish for musky with a conservation license and thats when I politely informed him that is perfectly legal to fish for musky with said license and it clearly states that in the regulations and I had a copy on board if he would like to check he declined.

I just looked at the results and you know it`s a tough bite when some of the best pro`s in the province weight in a dounut!

Thanks for the response guys, I will be out looking at properties this weekend up in Georgina, we have to decide between the Port Perry area and Simcoe. We can get a nice waterfront place on Scugog for under 300k and that won`t get you a sniff of a waterfront on Simcoe. I am thinking the commute from Port Perry to Brampton might be a bit better than the Georgina area to Brampton.

That seems like pretty good time, I have made the Brampton/Goreskis run and it`s 70 minutes. The wife and I are thinking of buying a waterfront place near Caesarea and I figure I could do the run in 80 minutes or so, thats a long commute for sure but it`s always been a dream to own a waterfront home.

Yes public access is great but it is usually the public that screws it up for themselves by being a nuisance, trespass,urinating on peoples property,throwing garbage on peoples property etc.

Thanks Sinker, I think I am getting closer to my dream of owning a waterfront home, the thing that has held me back in the last few years is the 3 man children I still have living at home but I am getting closer to the time in my life that I am going to start thinking of myself for a change.

They are identical boats with the obvious difference beng one is a full windshield and the other is a single windshield.

I have a Navigator165 full windshield and have no problems, solid well built boat. A lot better than those skinny Lund`s out there!!! Just kidding if you like skinny Lunds thats cool!

Well if the weather is calm you in theory could go out in a canoe but realistically the skinny Lunds are best suited for smaller water and calm days. For me and this is only my opinion I would not be caught dead in a small skinny boat in 3-4 foot waves. I have had my 90" beam boat out in 3 footers and it was not a whole lot of fun, I value my life too much to risk it trying to catch a stupid fish under those conditions.

Must be nice to be able print up a few billion, it will catch up with them eventually.

My rule of thumb is never buy anything from CTC unless it`s on sale.
