Imagine that it`s the summer driving season and the oil companies are pushing prices up!!! Judging by the number of gas guzzling SUV`s on the highways doing 140 km/hr I would summize that the price may not high enough!

You do not have to take the reel apart, there should be a knob on the sideplate this will control the spool and there should be a dial on the other side plate this would be the brake.

I am not familar with that particular reel but you probably have the brakes set wrong. Try this...Put your lure of choice on and press the button, the lure should move fast enough so that when it hits the ground the spool should stop spinning. Adjust the button on the side plate accordingly. Then set the braking feature to help prevent backlashes. I think you will find if you back off on your settings you`ll get some distance. Practice casting using your thumb as a brake most people who are experienced using baitcasters use their thumb as a brake. As well baitcasters may require fine tuning when you change lures or the conditions change.

It does not take a protest for me to avoid TO. LOL, Toronto has nothing I need or want you can keep all your protests and all your special interest groups! I moved out of Toronto in the early 80's and have never looked back, the fam and I are quite happy living north of the mullet line.

There was a long discussion about this subject not to long ago it may have been Mike the Bass fisher that started it but I am not sure. If it were me I would stick it out in the trades, better financial prospects. Money is not everything but if you want the finer things the trades may offer a better chance.

Very nice chair, I am no expert but to me when I look at the markings they look like they were done with a wood burning tool. The chair would make a very nice accent piece, I think that may be where some of the interest is coming from. If you get the right buyer you may get a good dollar for it. How did you come by this chair?

Who knows what Cash sounded like at 16! People are saying he sounds exactly like Cash and I disagree. I saw Cash perform in the mid 70's and I listen to his music almost on a daily basis and to my ear he sounds nothing like Cash. The above is my opinion, it`s okay that I have my own opinion isn`t it?

I could think of a several reasons not to visit Mexico this latest scare just confirms that you should stay away. If you can check out Jamaica, the food is way better than Mexico the beaches are great and the people are great. Everyting is irie in Jamaica mon!!!

I assume this reel has a warranty if so take it back a reel should not break there. I am assuming you did not run over it with a vehicle or close your trunk on it. Curious how did it break?

You probably use more fuel in that hour than the average fisherman trolling with his 9.9 4 stroke uses in a month or so. Add to that that you are probably on the water more than the average fisherman. I myself have a 90 4 stroke which most of the time is over kill, I could probably get by with a 9.9 80 percent of the time so I am just as guilty as everbody else when it comes to wasting gas.

I would love to see a totally green tournament how about we get guys like Dave Mercer, Bob Izumi etc. get them some 20 foot rowboats slap some sponsor decals all over them and let them go. I see it as a win win the boys would get some excersize and the earth wins with a little less pollution for a day or two. I would love to see a "blast off" in row boats I`d pay to see that. Of course we would have a St.John`s Ambulance boat on hand for any emergency that may arise.
