I have a trailer on SANDLAKE it has lake trout rainbows and some bass and the odd pike . Beaver is the best for pike fishing they are large and fight like hell in the rivers lots of weeds for them to sit in. I love the top water action. Laketrout are very deep on sandlake down about 40 to 60 feet. You will need a down riggers or dipsys to get them up to the boat.Iam there most weekends watch out for the OFC flag on my boat. I am thinking of getting the STEEZ REEL ( spinning ) . What's the word on the water about this reel. IS it worth the money or is it all about the price. I know it it so light and feels great but does it perform like a five hunder dollar reel should . WHAT'S THE WORD FROM THE POEPLE IN THE KNOW ! THanks Keith.

4 STROKE MARINE ENGINE OIL IS ( NOT ) THE SAME OIL AS AUTOMOBILE ENGINE OIL NEVER USE AUTOMOBILE ENGINE OIL FOR ANY 4 STROKE MARINE ENGINE THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERANT. MARINE 4 STROKE OIL HAS A LOW FOAMING AGENT IN IT. RPMs ARE MUCH HIGHER ON A MARINE ENGINE THEN A AUTOMOBILE ENGINE. MARINE ENGINES RUN AT HIGHER RPMs FOR A LONGER TIME EVEN LONGER THEN MOTOR BIKE. ASK A MARINE DEALER OR MECHANIC ABOUT THIS. IAM ONLY TELLING YOU WHAT I WAS TOLD BY A HONDA AND MECRURY MECHANIC.

THE hp MAXs is always the best way to go. For you and for resale value . I would not go lower then a 30 hp . And 4 stroke all the way when its going to be a till model . GOOD LUCK and always boat safely.

I have a trailer on SAND LAKE . I fish mostly for lake trout on SAND LAKE and pike on beaver lake. I AM there most week ends from late MAY till OCTOBER. I work and live in TORONTO .

I will be there this SATURDAY till next week-end on holidays at SAND HURST TENT & TRAILER PARK CAMP SITE #3 ALSO some great large pike on beaver lake just out side of KEARNEY. ANYONE out there NO if there is such a thing as a water alarm you could install . THAT would sound of if the water got higher then lets say 6 to 8 inches from the bottom of your boat. JUST A THOUGHT. MAYBE wired into the horn on the boat .

THIS will be my first time to lakair. THERE is four in our party and two boats. WE are there from MONDAY the 18 th to the 24 th SUNDAY camping in a tent not sure of the site right now . CLOSE to the water we hope and also to the docks. I would love to see all the pictures you can post as this is my first trip to LAKAIR.WE are really looking forward to this trip and hope to meet a lot of you people both on the water and at camp.

THEY are really hard on gas .

chat and yak lets here it all. Well the chat room is not to busy. And I have never seen a person in there. And I check it all the time . SO does anyone out there use or have a chat line room that is ( HOT FOR FISHING ) I am knot so good on the key board so I would like a room that offers voice chat . Is there such a room for people like ME.

WALKER all the way for me . I like the one electric walker I have . AND I got the life time warranty for any repairs that may be needed. ( IF THEY CANT FIX IT THEN THEY REPLACE IT. ) AND they are very close by you . For any part or repairs should you need them. JUST MY 2 CENTS. KEITH

I take them back to my small pond and feed them to the bass . AND I catch them in the river that flows in to the lake that I am on. When the bass are bigger then 6 inches I let the BASS go back in the lake. I am really not a bass fisher men I like lake trout pike rainbow walleyes and after LAKAIR musky I HOPE. Bass is really not my thing . They are just to easy to catch.
