  3. Hi gang, I have started working part-time for a sunglass company that distributes polarized, lightweight (1/2 ounce) sunglasses that FLOAT in the water! They also feature Multi-Layer Lens Technology/High Impact Shatter-Proof Lenses made by the 3M Corporation offering 100% UVA/UVB protection. Full details on the website..check it out. http://www.fishgillz.com/ If you are interested, please PM me; I am expecting an order later this week. thanks Richard
  4. Hi guys, Can someone remind me of the policy of posting that you work part-time for a company and try and endorse that company (sales) through a great website like this? Yes, it refers to sunglasses... thanks disregard..spoke with TJ..thanks guys
  5. Hi guys, Just curious what everyone's favourite fishing magazine is? Maybe there is one out there that we dont know too much about...I'm partial to Bass Times, Bass Master and FLW.... of course, Bassman as well..thanks guys! Cheers
  6. I'm with the 'lefty' group as well! Although right handed, I play hockey and golf left handed and use a LH retrieve for a Bait Caster...good to see there are a few more on here!

  8. just curious..why do you want to go to a tiller and not stick with a console?
  9. We went down for the August races for 6 years in a row but have not been in a few years, and not to the June race. If you are still lucky enough to get tickets and book somewhere, I would go that route. We stayed in Ann Arbour, Mi at the Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn..different one each year..not sure what the rates are now but it used to be not so bad. If you do stay there be sure to leave around 6am to get to the track. Once you get parked you can relax and check out the vendors across the road(or go back to sleep!) but waiting in line miles from the track really sucks! Take a portable barbq and enjoy tailgating afterwards as well..the first year we went we tried to leave right away,,what a mistake that was. So after that we just relaxed with everyone else and left an hour or so later if you are in no rush and stay the Sunday night as well... Have fun, it's a great experience for sure!
  10. cool..thanks! I know you will get lots of enjoyment out of it....way to go..

  17. I too am going to get my first 'caster'....can you give me some insight on the problems with the combos? I know people have asked before about starter baitcasters and rods...I have around 200 to spend on one..separate rod and reel the way to go then? thx guys

  21. thanks guys...appreciate your time we have 3 whirly's on the one opposite side plus one on the garage but none on the affected side..I guess there was one originally and the couple that had the house before us put the extra 2 in.. thx guys
  22. Hi guys Quick question if you dont mind....so we bought the house we are in a couple years ago in February and noticed a 4' section of ice jam on the roof.(The shingles were replaced 2-3 years ago with double ice shield) by the previous owners..anyway we noticed it again last winter and began wondering..hmmmm I popped my head up the attic hatch and saw the styrofoam vents that go between the rafters but not where the jamming is...unless the blown insulation has blown them so I cant see them...there is not alot of room to hoist myelf up there and crawl over on pieces of wood not enough room to stand at all)to see whats going on in that spot..is it possible to take a peek from the outside under the soffitt etc? Or find a really small person to go in? lol was thinking of the heater cables but would rather get the needed circulation up there rather than band aid it....or is it a huge problem at all..we have had no leaks.. thanks guys Rich
  23. we had the same bad luck on Saturday on Sparrow Lake for our classic tourney..12 guys allowed 5 per team...8 fish brought in..brutal! we were moving all over the lake trying different things...all we caught was cold!
