I don't understand banning it... You can drop shot 4 baits on one line... For salmon you can add a stacker line to run an extra spoon on the same rod... Musky guys in thousand islands run a spoon off the back of believers... Bait fisherman can run 4 baits...

Never had my bait checked... Only ever been checked for fishing licenses...life vests... And safety requirements....

well i finally got my little fella out for his first boat ride on sunday morning... and he loved it... he was running all over the boat... playing with my sonar unit... played in the livewell...and even took a turn driving... well he held on the the tiller for a bit anyways.... i was one happy father... he was like a fish in water...lol

Super glue...!!! Had 2 days last year saved by super glue... For those cuts that won't stop opening/bleeding... Just glue em up till you get home that night and can let it rest and heal up a bit...

On the same note... We weren't sure if we were gunna get anything small enough for supper... I like walleye around 2 pounds for eating...

Got out for a while today with my buddy for some walleyes... I've been trying to elaborate on a pattern my brother and I have going and today the pattern busted wide open... We were trolling cranks on underwater cliff edges and major points or saddles that divert large amounts of water... We started fishing around 1130am and didn't get hit till around 1230pm... Then we got 9 in the next 4 hours... Then we headed home for some fresh walleye and fries... But as soon as the plates were empty... Back out we went... Fished from 630pm till 830pm landing another 6 walleyes... The part I haven't let you in on was the best part of the day... They were BIG today... Our top 5 were 29" 28" 26" 25" 25" Heres the 2 bigguns... Sorry for the bad picks... Camera phone...

rockbass get us all the time... they nest under pretty well every dock in our bay... and when you take the last step off the ladder... BANG they bite your toes... and dont stop till your out of their area... i know theyre little fish but it scares the poop out of you if you forget theyre still nesting and they get you...

i love it... its like the blackberry slogan... we use tools not toys... referring to the iphone that can do everything a blackberry can do... why are humminbirds are a toy??? user friendly? simple menu options? cheaper to have downscan?...only $100 with a HB... simple base mounts where you cant bend pins? have great portable pack options? dont get me wrong... if the OP asked about units that are $1000 or more... sure...lowrance hds models for sure...those units are amazing... but at the price of $500... i truely believe HB has the better units... especially since you can get a sonar/gps unit with downscan for $500...

My brother is great at fishing spinners/worm harnesses... And we fish the st.lawrence so my experiences should compare to what you'll run into.... For trolling we use 4oz weights because of the current... Then a 2-3 foot leader made of 20-25lb test mono or florocarbon... Tied to this is a high quality snap swivel... Setting up like this eliminates that twisted up tangle that can happen with spinners... And then the harnes... Keep em short... 8-10 inches... We use steel wire for our spinners and they produce as well as 10lb mono ones... I've even used 100lb florocarbon and it still caught walleye just as good... And size 4 Colorado blades... One hook only on the harness... And we use 3 inch gulp minnows for bait... Trolling speed will be different at every spot you fish because of the different currents in the river... And you don't wanna drag bottom but you always wanna be really close to it... Its a tricky balance of weight...speed...and line out.... If I missed anything... Lemme know... Hope this helps... Mike

I think that may be an over statement... My F150 FX4 is a gas guzzler To the OP My inlaws had a santa fe and we used it a few times... Pretty nice vehicle... And can't remember any major issues... They just got a Tuscan and its even nicer.... No technical info from me... But as far as comfort and handling... Thumbs up from me... And I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall...

Yup And those units can be mounted permanently... Portable... Or with ice ducer... Cabelas has the humminbird 597 ci hd di on sale for like 600 bucks right now... I know thats a bit over budget but I have this unit and love... I use it in the boat as well as on the ice... Great unit for the price....

lol aaron wiebe (guy pushed in the water) is an amazing angler and the top money earner on bounty fishing online tournaments... his other videos are amazing and some huge fish are caught... and they arent like this one..lol... hes just playing around here...lol trust me... your gunna be seeing this guy all over the fishing industry very very soon... from what ive seen hes one of the best multi species anglers making himself known... great video aaron... keep em coming
