There is only one country in the world that puts hockey number one... Hockey is not even close to number one in Sweden, Czech Rep., or Russia.. soccer is, and various other sports still draw far more interest... It hasn't really grown anywhere around the world outside of Canada... even though it is a great sport... It doesn't really change the way I look at the game... who ultimately cares?

So what political party is going to bring you lower gas prices??! Come on, don't be so friggin naive... Gas prices are a function of what I posted previously... there's no conspiracy or plot to control us... China and India are consuming 10,00000000 times more energy than just 5 years years ago..mainly because they are now supplying us with lots of cheap priducts! this is actually good for canada and one of the reasons we haven't sunken into an even deeper recession... we're a commodity-rich country and we sell to the world... unfortunately this does not mean we will get gas for free, even though we still pay very little for gas when compared to most industrialized countries... much less.. Europeans are paying the equivalent of $2.50/litre!! how's that sound? Being "independent" as a previous poster submitted, whatever that means, won't get you cheaper gas either! Like I said, downsize... or look to sensible alternatives if possible, like diesel engines..

Gas will be at $1.50/litre within the next little while... the fact is prices for gas are going up across the globe for a number of reasons... mostly supply/demand - it's a commodity that has limited quantities and there a a number of very large countries that are eating up a lot more oil than was the case only 10 years ago this is going to change what you drive (on the road and water...) downsize!

And you think you'll avoid th inevitable? once it does get a bit warmer they might be worse!!

Back in '93 (tht glorious doug gilmour inspired cup run) I went to several games in the playoffs in may at the Gardens and it was 90 F most eve. in the building by the time LA cheated us out of the plyoff...

Normal? the 75 year avg is 25 C at this time of the year in this part of the world... It rarely hit 65F let alone 70F

If this isn't the coolest June ever so far, it's gotta be close! Usually, we'v had at least one or two good "heat waves" by now... Our furnace is still pumping away at night consistently and I cannot remember the the last time that has happened... ever since the May long weekend it's been darn cool! What happened to the prediction of a warm spring/summer? I'll bet weed growth is way behind... water temps definitely are...

you need to re-title this thread: "WHST'S UP WITH THIS WEATHER" It's been crappy for a good three weeks now.. ever since May 24. We almost got frost here in Vaughan (just north of Steeles, aka Toronto) last week! It was about 2C. I cannot remember the last time it got that cool... normal temps for this time of the year down here should be 24C

Ya, but Ebay's a pain in the arse.. shipping, waiting, unexpected costs...plus yu don't know what you're buying... I saw mine on Kijiji (the best thing ever invented) got in my car and drove 15 mins, inspected what I was buying and paid $20 each for spooled and quality reels..

Just bought a pair of these for $40! In very good condition. They're made in the U.S. so a bit older but probably better than the "made in china" 209! Both reels were spooled with flee-flicker... I think I got a good deal...

Hey there, WHen using a kicker mounting bracket, does it really make a difference if a motor is a long or short shaft since the bracket's height can usually adjusted ? Thanks!

I decided NOT to buy the package... and not because of the motor, although that didn't help.... I didn't like the boat and it was rougher than the picture revealed! really bad paint job and poor interior... oh well, back to the search

Bad motors? who said they were bad? they're motors with very reliable track records... and I think the posters here can attest to that!
