Christmas Story. For an old guy like me, its not only funny, but reminiscent of another time when I was growing up.

This is such a wonderful site and while I like to pretend that it is without issue and appreciate being protected from a lot of the bullcrap, I can't say enough for the core guys that keep this wonderful place together. I cannot tell you how much your efforts are appreciated.

Saw the Fishing World ad pop-up today. Great to see them aboard. It's a great store and Mike and Jim are always helpful and very open with their massive fishing knowledge.

Same guy owns them all Brian. I would think that it would affect the Auburn, NY store more. Would still like to see it. It was supposed to be bigger than the TO store and have a restaurant as well as rumours the boats would be in the water and that they would also run charters out of it.

No, but they should. I see enough of them in there and they're always spending money!! Don't pay attention to Baby Herc. He was covering in the fly shop, but he's one of the most knowledgable young guys I know. The knowledge and passion of some of the young guys at BPS is impressive. He'll still have a hard time beating me at Lakair though...............it's my boat, so I can backboat him . I figure he's in for a few lessons

Thanks guys. I remember somebody on this board mentioning an OFC type equivalent in Florida where I might also be able to hook up with someone. Does anyone recall that. I've been tempted to do it every year, but most of them use minnows and balloons that time of year (not my style). I would rather go out with someone and throw traditional rubber and lures. 1leg, how did you catch your lunker??

I took some video of the grandkids with my camera the other day. Some of the shots I had the camera tilted 90 degrees and of course it came out sideways YOu can rotate pictures. Does anyone know of any software that will rotate videos (avi files)??

Well another great day at BPS. Talking to a customer this morning, when what should appear out of the corner of my eye, but a little dwarf elf walking around the fishing aisles!! It was wonderful to see you again Roy. It really made my day!! (Obviously doesn't take much ) All kidding aside, you are one class act. Topped the day off by meeting Keram for the first time!

Hey Beans, a couple of old guys from Pennsylvania told me and my boys about that over 25 yeas ago. The rest of it was if they are feeding then everything else is feeding. Coming home from a trip once (we'd had a slow fish), everything was feeding, Cows, horses, sheep, chickens. I was going to turn around and go back!!

Still looking forward to going to it!
