  1. Great job capt. Looking forward to our trip in a couple weeks!
  2. Had a blast great to finally meet Ryan and wish slowpoke a happy birthday. Didn't have time to say hi to our hosts this time around
  3. I realize that this adds a bit of weight (75-90lbs) to the boat. In terms of the seating only the pedestal seat would be added and of course would not be sitting there while in transit. This is a big enough tinny to handle it, but I've seen some 10 and 12 footers with some decks and those were not safe. Good point about selling I will make sure its easily removable.
  4. Happy birthday buddy!
  5. Pm sent. Mid may at latest earlier the better crappie will be biting soon:)
  6. Terrible news...never had the pleasure to meet him but I enjoyed his posts on here.
  7. I don't think marinas do this kind of work, but maybe a crafty carpenter?
  8. I wanted to revive this topic - anyone with a powerdrive and ipilot? How do you like it? I know how the Terrova works with it, but was wondering how the powerdrive compares...as I know it doesn't steer as sharp (at least with the pedal)
  9. I know guys it isn't too bad....but time is more the issue my friend, and talent is a close second.
  10. I have a relatives boat I want to help them with putting a casting deck on. I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone that does good work in the Kawartha lakes area. I know its not overly difficult, but I'd rather have this done right. Its a 14' aluminum, I would like a front deck w/door storage, pedastal mount seat (could probably be mounted over the front bench) and something done to make a trolling motor bracket for the bow-mount (and maybe make a small compartment under that plate) If you know of anyone let me know. Thanks.
  11. As technical as Jos is I don't think he even owns a computer Great guy and unmatched customer service!
  12. London should be a good show had fun there last year!
  13. Hey congrats on the purchase they are great cars! I'm impressed with these new engines power/mileage but I think the addition and refinement of the new 6spd transmissions have a lot to do with it. There is so much that can be done with the transmission to optimize economy.
  14. Thanks still haven't found anything reasonable
  15. Walmart or kijiji. Maybe someone has an in with a distributor on here
  16. If you only want one thing on the sonar at once (i.e. GPS or sonar) than the 5 will be good. Otherwise you may want to consider the 7. The 520 series are hard to beat, I would think the GPS is the biggest improvement. They are noticably slower than the 520's as well in usability. Hopefully as more updates come out the potential of the HDS's will be realized.
  17. first place I called bud he didn't think he had anything other than the flexhaust which was around 100 for 25ft lol
  18. I'll give them a call to check thanks.
  19. No luck there unfortunately...closest was 1.5in sump hose...too small. Flexhaust would be perfect but the price is off the charts for around the house http://www.flexaust.com/smooth-interior-vacuum-hose
  20. Hey guys where can I find shop vac type hose that its ast least 2 in and no bigger than 2.5 in? I need 20 ft if possible. I can get an 10ft extension for my ridgid but it is almost 50 bucks which is crazy for just the hose. Thanks.
  21. Depends....some of the minn kotas are pretty heavy if you go over 30lbs you will definitely notice it on the side
  22. Keep in mind that you can use the battery to offset the weight of the side-mounted trolling motor depending on how big the canoe is.
  23. Wow I can't wait to get up there again! You sure do well up that way. That's a shame about the Sturgeon though.
  24. I suggest you compare the Terrova and powerdrive side by side. The terrova steers and deploys 10x better than the powerdrive not to mention a much better pedal (similar to cable steer)
  25. Their food is so over-processed and gross. I'm tired of paying almost $2 for a tea. I've started making my own at home as saves me waiting in a drive through nevermind how much gas is wasted every day in these lines!
