Great story and awesome fish, just awesome congrats

Fishednorth end taits bay and big/littlebald - no issues, down near big island channel still bloom. Fishing was really good really shallow - they were all in less than 3 feet. Every year this happens, not sure by the 14th October will be all over water temp was still 66 degrees which was surprising - Bait selection _ Punder bulldawg

I likes leafs call earlier in the season i abandon BBL and LBL somewhat at present almost like sept1 I know some people will say i am wrong. I would look at a few of the isolated reefs and drop shot leeches off the edge or minnows. Look in noggies on edge bob side deeper and along channel markers around bobcaygeon. good luck

Great stuff mike, a lot of people would like a day of teenagers.

I know we saw a number of guys out there yesterday and Friday, For those of you who are aware I got the invite to be third man in the boat for a three day taping of the show, we were faced with water temps which had fallen from 76.6 to 69.8 on Friday then yesterdays blue bird day. In the end we got the show done quickly with 10 from 11 caught - Thanks for the advice (Big Cliff, Lew) and my fishing circle (Tim, Greg and Craig) - maybe we should have caught less as i would be still fishing today with Jim! We fished a number of spots and taro (Fish City tours) as usual was awesome- I know musky is a strong point for him but if you have not caught giant small mouth go with him one day it is still one of my three favourite days ever. , I was third through each spot which is always in my opinion tough but I did well and so did all the team. I learnt some new techniques and used the advice and slowed down, I went searching for a giant yesterday which meant many hours grinding away while we finally hit pay dirt in a bite window a couple of hours before dark. Here is link or you can get a sneak peak at musky hunter Facebook page photo. https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/1004676_535330129872408_1221052121_n.jpg?dl=1 Take care and I hope everyone can understand my accent if I dont get cut from the show!

Mike - Stop it - I am going to have to just stop working and live in your shed and get in boat everytime you go. What a great report your baits are awesome, Great fish. -
I have fished tongariro and lake taupo in NZ fishing for browns, it is in my opinion one of the greatest places to fish for these with a fly. i hear the arguments but that is just a massive brown - they catch a huge number of browns in this area?. What a great fish - enjoy - I hope once and for all the musky record gets broken on GB and I am holding the net

Thanks everyone Roaring Dan (Greg) and Craig (Im Hooked) are incredible great mates and awesome net men at lotw (They are also awesome musky guys on pigeon I become net man), I have had an awesome season so far with most ever musky - LOTW it draws you back as I kept thinking how many I lost and Craig/Greg even this year. We saw more than 150 fish each! during five days. I must say for those who know me that I had no clue when I moved to canada that everyone here would help me so much when I started - I know lew and slowpoke plus Dax deserve incredible amount of credit as when i started this obsession five years ago never thought I would end up this hooked, then Mike P - brownie and I will never forget a great time out and the lures he makes are unbelievable - I am sure Roaring Dan will tell the story of how both of my custom specials from mike were lost in the first hour! and that is why it wasn't 11 from 11 on handlebarz i am going to get my PB with Mike P at LSC later this year she is waiting for me. i also feel Karma is paying me back I had a great afternoon with Leaf4 above to show him and I got paid back in spades. I look forward to dans post!

I will be on pigeon (Ping me Lew and we can keep in contact by phone and see if we can get a pattern) with my great mate roaring Dan Seavey. I hope to be an adequate net man for him and get him on the board early. Going to fish some new watersthis year - Musky Canada Mississauga outing then going to go and meet Mike P and Crew at their outing. As always Lake of the woods is what I am working hard towards. good Luck all and look forward to your pictures. -
2000yrds for 200 doesn't seem that bad include post to canada - similar to powerpro? Doesn't seem like a unicorn? anyone used this. I have used 832 - my mate brownie swears by this stuff!
-
Anyone ever used this braid - they have solid and hollow, gets really great reviews - using 80lbs for musky. Thoughts for Ontario? Any Feedback would be greatly accepted
