Newer 521 ranger . 6 ft wave no issue.

Hung throttle  maybe. Steering is hydraulic not likely failure.

Just a bad deal for sure.

Could easily stuff the nose and hook the boat at speed.

I've been out in plenty of conditions that would scare the crap out of most people.

When you are used to bad conditions it is more likely you make better decisions while out there on the water.

Have been out on some of the biggest lakes in the country in some pretty small boats when the weather has changed.

Spent a night sleeping on a beach with my guests when the winds picked up and blew ice down the lake on 12 foot waves.

Easy choice to hunker down for the night. ;)

Had other days with similar waves but without the ice and have had no issues in 16-17 foot boats. Just a little slow going is all.

There was a transport truck fire that had the Niagara bound QEW closed at Bartlett here in Grimsby for hours before the game , bet a lot of fans missed the start of the game.

Natasha Staniszewski from Sportcentre left at 10:45AM and got there in time for the overtime.

I wonder how many other people got burned by that wreck?

At least she got to watch the game on her cell while stuck in line at the border!!!

  3. I have Rocky gortex hunting boots.

They aren't as high as rubber boots but are higher than hikers.

A mid calf design. And they lace up so are adjustable on the calves.

Mine are similar in design to these but mine are no longer made as I have had them since the 90's. :)

The ones I have also have more insulation then these but you asked for little insulation and these are the lowest @ 200 grams of thinsulate.

Fizz ? When and if I get one, it,s going to be steamed and smothered in garlic butter, with a side of hot sauce.

Thanks Bill. I will be looking forward to getting one now, that they will hit a rap. :)

Fizz is the sound they make when you drop them in boiling oil!!!

  7. I'm alone every Christmas morning unless I travel 6,000 kms to be with family.

I crawl out of bed late, cook myself a kick donkey brecky and chill on da couch watchin' TEEVEE with a rum in me hand!!!!

It really sucks!!! I don't advise it.  :lol::lol:

When I lived back in Mississauga I used to go and spend a few hours drifting for steel on the Credit on Christmas.

Early and late with the fam and fishin' in between while the feast was cookin'.  :)

Add them to "your team's" on the sportnet app and it notifies you 15 mins in advance.

It was a weird game time for a Tuesday

Or keep your Budweiser Red Light set up and turned on and 5 minutes before puck drop it will remind you that it's about to start and to grab some Buds!!!  :D
