1. most of the time an internal is as good as an external because people don't or can't put the puck in a really good spot but if you have a clear high spot on your boat the external can/will make a difference looks like a good unit you will need to add maps
2. yeah, I watched it on his tv show love watching his show
3. wow that's a big one
4. 2 posts in the same week..WOW you must be heating up too.....LOL
5. well according to the regs, I would say they need to be registered but how the COs handle it God only knows
6. · You do not need to register an ice hut if it is a tent made of cloth or synthetic fabric that has a base area of two square metres (21.5 square feet) or less when erected. · Ice hut registration numbers must be at least 6.3 cm (2.5 in.) in height and clearly displayed on the outside of the hut. · Whether or not an ice hut removal date applies to your Zone, it is an offence under the Public Lands Act to leave your ice hut out after ice break up. so if it has would on it you do..
7. yeah, looks like a herring nice haul I think misfish was trying to insult me, so how...LOL
8. haha.... yeah a real bad idea oh wait it was my idea and no I didn't dig my boat out and try..I just really want to fish for them
9. yeah, many places are way top dark to use but simcoe and other lakes are great for perch and crappie fishing I can catch 200% more fish using the camera, if there are fish in the area I find it hard to use in the summer even if you anchor the waves make it hard to use
10. well, 15 years ago I made an under water camera and used a water proof flashlight as the housing I was on cooks bay, I heard a nosie (it had sound too) spun the camera around just in time to see a big pike eat it after about 5 seconds it let my camera go, water flooded in and the second $300 low lux camera was dead but it was cool to see it happen
11. good idea to wear a floater suit on a snowmobile, sure we can all understand the logic in that but there is not even a law that you need to wear a floater suit/lifejacket on a boat, on board yes but wear, no law come on, how many of you wear you life jackets every minute you are in a boat..no I mean really how many so how can we think they should, when most of us don't it all sounds good on paper but if not a law, it's all just talk
12. if you don't have some type of fishfinder..buy a fishfinder but, I have a aquavu scout srt 100ft of cable and I have a blast with it in real dark water up north it can be hard to see with it but in simcoe it works great I catch a lot more perch and almost never have the fish remove my bait without me catching it it can be like cheating, I see the fish take the bait way before it telegraphs the information up the line to the rod , so I just set the hook and bring in the fish..you get to see just how many fish are in the area, how much weed and you see rocks and logs cement blocks and everything else down there... hey it makes it too easy..so don't buy one save the fish for me
13. LOL, no it is quite frozen over there....I was just showing the boat that needs dragging out
14. well there isn't enough ice to fish on does anyone want to help me drag my folding boat across the ice at willow beach and slide it into the open water for whitefish . . . . .

19. Joey, I think you really might have a line class record this is what I found Carp, common 02 kg (4 lb) 11.79 kg (26 lb 0 oz) Merrimack River October 8, 2000 Jonathan R. Yates yours is bigger
20. it took so long to bring in the fish, I broke the record into a few files, but I had to delete twice so I could get the fish coming up the hole, but the card filled up for a third time and as I was deleting some files she had the fish's head out of the hole so I was SOL, then we used her camera to take all the pictures so we wait till she post about it
21. I didn't think it was my place to say so I will wait for her to post about it I thought I would just get people prepared for the cooks bay monster
22. 4 lb test line, monster, not the fish we thought I took video for about 20 minutes and just as she got the fish to the hole the cameras card was full <param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355">
