yeah, but the lake access spots where there long before houses where there..just cottages where all around the lake...I hate it when people move into an area that has lake access or a smelly factory, knowing they are there then complains about the people using the lake access or complain about the smell of the factory...........

yup, instead for more access they are doing everything they can to stop people from accessing Lake Simcoe...it's a real shame and shame on the town of Georgina

avoid all of them they are crap...all of them at times you can see the other person and the radio signal doesn't reach them..

if you would only use it in the one boat then go with a fixed mount unit but if you want to take it in other boats and on the ice, then a good portable with a removable antenna so you can hook it up to a fix mount db gain antenna on your boat, many good portables also have mounts and mics you can add to make it just like a fix mount

most of the guys on this board that do charters guide service only talk about their business if asked or to answer a question....and most people have no idea that they have the business there are some that take every chance they can to promote their business.... some of the guys that do promote their business do have ads on this website, so we need to cut those guys a little slack bottom line is, it doesn't take long to figure out who is spamming and who is being helpful the mods and the board members do a pretty good job of harassing and or deleting the spammers

OK why do people use me as an example of why not to buy an ATV....is it me or the ATV that's the problem..... don't say it Wayne...... it wasn't the best looking crossing of a pressure crack on an ATV but I made it and any crossing you can walk away from is a good crossing

many years an ATV is your best bet on Simcoe, but the last 2 years a ski-doo has been your best bet.... on the other hand I get to use my ATV year round and fish back lakes in the summer

if you really want to get the most use out of your cell phone, and if the antenna unscrews buy a mobile antenna and mount it on your car or boat and you will get twice the distances
