well another year and another vacation at shiningtree I wasn't as excited as most years because I don't have an ATV anymore so it cuts back on the number of back lakes I could visit, I was going to go to one of my best lakes because the logging company was making a road close to the lake so I figured I could drive most of the way and walk in the rest well as it turned out the logging company make the road too close to some lakes, so the MNR has banned all travel along the road and it's a $5000.00 fine so they tell me if you get caught..so much for that. go to the cabin around 3 and on the water by 330 started catching walleye, looked like it was going to be a great week after dinner we went out again and couldn't buy a fish next day same thing, everyone in camp had the same complaint..no fish that night about 930 and only one walleye for the day. we started to troll back towards the camp...my buddy got a fish..we figured it was a good size pike , it stayed down and made a few good runs but as it broke the surface I saw it was a big walleye..big for that lake anyways..not Bay of Quinte big, but still big and his personal best it was bigger then the one the lodge had on the wall, that they said was 8lbs it was bigger then the picture on the counter of the one they said was weighed and was 9.9, but who knows no one could believe he let it go but were impressed by the picture... well that is a question that is hard to answer without you yelling us what you have now and how long it lasts but without info a Motomaster Nautilus Starting & Deep Cycle Battery From $89.99 10-2499 Amp Hour Capacity: 70, 10-2799 Amp Hour Capacity: 93.. and the one you are looking at is 33AH deep-cycle battery, ideal for powering trolling motors so it will last 1/3 as long as the regular battery so if you battery is about the same as the Motomaster Nautilus Starting & Deep Cycle Battery with Amp Hour Capacity: 93 and if it will run your motor/canoe for 3 days then the booster pack will last one day...if that helps

you should have bought that 99 buck generator from Canadian tire..that and a battery charger would do wonders

yeah we figured that out a few days back but even a secondary prize would be nice I just wanted to see if OFC had enough members to win any contest on the net...so far it looks like we are number 8...LOL

I can see both sides of question I have always said it is better to have 2 separate units..main reason..if you have a 2 in one unit and the unit dies you don.t know how deep the water is and you don't know where you are.... if you have 2 units and one dies at lest you can tell how to get home or will be able to see how deep it is on the way home and same if it dies and you just want to fish so I like 2 units but I got a great deal on a 2 in one unit and really like it takes up a lot less room and I find I can get the info at a quick glance rather then looking at the 2 different units.. but I always take my handheld gps with me just in case the thing dies

I have never seen the fish id work right...any thing in the water like weeds dirt, bubbles, current and just water can make the fish ids show up as fish.. hooks only show up under the right conditions you have to be moving to see hooks but it will show lines or blobs if tight to the bottom fish will look like a bump/rock but will have a line under it separating it from the bottom...

don't remember speeds but every vehicle I owned up to about the age of 40 I buried the needle on each one......seems I have slowed down a bit these days..not much but a bit

cabelas or BPS online and have them ship it to you but not by UPS..never ship by UPS UPS will hit you with broker fees..I think they spin a big prize wheel and whatever it lands on you pay I have see the broker fees more then the cost of the product and shipping combined oh did I mention not to us UPS
