handheld CBs have terrible range, the grs radios do as good or better you might do ok if one of the cars have a fixed mount radio and antenna or if you can buy a fixed mount antenna for the handheld radios otherwise I believe you will not be happy with the results

if they really want it there is nothing you can do when I had my atv on a trailer stolen it was in a locked gated fenced back yard the hitch was locked plus the locking ball was inside the hitch there was a chain through the rims in my mind there was no way no how to take it they backed up to the gate tipped the ramp on the car hauler, tied the winch to my trailer , winched it up onto the truck right through the gate and gone in 60 seconds I now have a complete camera dvr system watching it, it will not stop them, but maybe help catch them

size don't matter it would be a better use of your time to keep track of the time of year/day weather air temp water temp and location of fish you caught water clarity wind direction and speed, was the sun at your face or back when you caught it lure and speed

yup, smaller fish taste better and are healthier big fish lay lots of eggs and I get more enjoyment from catching a big fish then eating it , if I release it there is a chance I can catch it again plus I don't want to be one of those guys that keep everything then ask gee whiz, what happened to all the big fish I use to catch here. they all seem to be gone but that's just me
