the way our Gov. is, if it was considered not safe, they would ban it or tax it they are safe, do a google search on exploding refilled 1lb tanks, you will see no problem and as for unsafe to transport, it's because the seal is meant for one time use and not to be refilled, because you can not be sure the seal will hold transporting in a trunk or inside a car could be bad..again try to find if it has ever happened by googling I have had some that do not seal after filling, you hear them hiss so you know there is a problem, I put themon the heateror lantern right away and problem solved I also have some old propane torches that I screw on them to double secure them, over kill but what the heck

it is legal to refill them I will say it again, it is legal to refill them however, it is not legal to transport them on Ontario roads once they are refilled..so fill them when you get to the camp site and safe to refill I have never heard of anyone in Canada ever getting hurt filling one do it outside in a well vented area

I have seen where there is no duty on an item but UPS put broker fees at 3/4 of the price of the thing you bought

I don't trust UPS there are many shops in the US that only ship UPS, so I don't buy from them I feel your pain

looks like a great trip those planes landing that close would freak me out

I like making the underwater videos but it is very distracting, I keep forgetting to fish while watching live fish TV and recording takes even more attention but I will do more of them

got back out for whitefish I started off where I got all of them last weekend it was dead, they were swimming around but no one was getting a bite we moved to 70 ft and I put down the camera saw I had a good picture so I put the recorder on it was hard to keep the lure in front of the camera, the williams whitefish darts around at times most fish just swam by and didn't even look at the lure but I did get 3 of them and lost a couple more here is a bit of underwater video back out tomorrow

it's a powerpoint slide show of them removing vehicles that have gone through the ice and cars that went through near shore
