you can tell that I need to get back to work ...LOL thursday is the day I get to go back but
I hurt my back the other day icefishing didn't help it at all now who knows when I will go back..
they are real good
but they don't work on simcoe ice
as everyone knows simcoe ice is different. it has something to do with the molecular bond of the ice particles and that they bond on a 45 deg angle instead of vertically like other lakes, some people believe it's a magnetic anomaly from iron in the water or copper deposits
but with the angle Sub Zero uses on their auges it binds in simcoe ice rendering them useless
and it looks even nicer in person, a great machine there
I had a good time on that slippery ice
the rain from the day before got into my hut and it took a long time to thaw it out enough to get it all the way flipped down
cooks bay at gilford has completely refroze
the crack at the ramp is not the best but the ice is good no water on top at all
hard for anyone walking without cleats or skidoos without studs but great ice
the only good thing is, they will all die in Simcoe
in the winter a snowmobile will run across the ice, the asian carp will all try to jump out of the water and kill themselves when they hit their head on the ice..problem solved
I got some good news
and I got some bad news
the good news, that thing is sweeeeeeeet
nice trailer too
the bad news the lake is so icy and slippery , skidoos can't run on it without flipping over
....lOL
