The stocking programs down here in the states work really well. They stock musky at at a rate of 1 fish per acre and they usually stock 12 inch fish every year. They have found that anything smaller and they don't really make it. Stocking does work. But i think there also needs to be an effort to improve habitat especially around the Holland river, and other major tribs.

I actually remember seeing a small musky about 30" in a tributary of Lake Simcoe several years ago.

Why has the Green Bay, WI progam been succesful, what are they doing that we are not for lake simcoe? I have seen the pictures of fish from Green Bay and it looks like they have established a very good fishery there and it only looks like things are getting better for them. Maybe we need to bring them in and get their help?

i think it will be a very good fishery with some bigguns. Lots of good forage to fatten up those fish.

No, not in saltwater. But i want to winterize and i want to run the engine while its not in the water. I doing this so that i can put fuel stablizer in the engine and run it for about 15 mintues.

Howdy yall. Ok i have a little bit of a silly question. i just baught a pair of ear muffs that you attached the hose to for outboards. Im not exactly sure of where to put it. The only place that i have found is right above the prop on the little wing thing (i dont know the technical name of it) But if i attach it to this place the prop will smack it. So do I have to remove the prop to do this, or is there another place on the outboard that i am not looking to attach the hose to with the ear muffs. Thanks. by the way I have a 15hp 4 stroke merc.

I will be winterizing my motor myself this year for the first time. I have some good links on websites that people have previously posted before. This may be a silly question. I have a 4stoke merc and i was wondering were exactly do i spray the fogger? I know its around the carb but can anybody post a picture of this part?
