the new etrex sumits and legends float and are waterproof although after getting wet the battery area has to be dried before continuing use!

i think what TJ was pointing out was learn spelt LERAN the mistake i think he knows what living is by the sounds of the way people on here talk hes been doing it for some time now just teasin ya a bit TJ.

i used to say -30 no -29 yes but now its -26 no -25 yea at 25 below your hands freeze pretty bad and holes have to be slushed steady lines freeze in and its hard on the system too, a fish isnt worth frostbite or even worse hypothermia if u have a shack on the other hand nothin to think about hahah Matt

i have one of each and can drill a hole much faster with sweede and if u are drilling a hole in an ice shack its hard with the fin bore your knuckles hit the wall way too much!

call around at home hardware, canadian tire, wal mart or any other hardware store they have chisel's for sale for as low as 20 bux takes a couple minutes to get through 16 inches of ice but start your hole as about a 6 inch and it will end at about and 8 always give yourself a couple extra inches and as for an axe the top of your hole has to be about 2 feet to get a 6 inch hole at the bottom and you WILL get wet its a guarantee.

when i add all mine up and divide by 12 i get 200 now divide by 4 and i get 50 so about 45-50 bucks a week cheaper than being a smoker i suppose! too bad i do both

i'd have to say that last year alone on soft plastics i spent somewhere around 750 800 on a couple new rods and reels 200 on live bait on the hardwater 150 on new line 300 on body baits and jigs and a couple new tackle boxes 150 on wide gap hooks and this doesnt count gas to and from mainteneance on boat truck canoe .... so just on fishing in genereal somewhere around $2350.00 Matt!

picked up a few more last night at WM i use them for specks lakers and wallies work great get the biggest one u can for specks they hit them out of aggression. and welcome aboard! Matt

for those of you who have an antifreeze tester use it!!!! at -30 and colder you want to make sure your rad doesnt freeze or water jacket save a few $$$ and check it if u have one

that is definatley a gorgeous net! i made several in shop class in gr. 12 for auction for the shop course to profit, they were all made of white ash and cocabola wood very simple to make until you try to get the mesh on the darn frame!!!! congrats on the new net knowing you i can picture many shots of gorgeous steel laying beside it! sounds like my dads chisel, he went back the day after he lost it down the hole(the sashcord broke) he used a large speaker to get it he had to drill holes all over to find it but it was in about 90 fow he was Pised. but the magnetic speaker worked like a charm!

i think i screwed this up i had a few brown glasses of beer before i read this !!!

i didnt think i was the only one who had a special scoop laying around for years!
