  7. Hey Folks, I'm in the market for a 7' Medium Trigger Rod/Reel. Just wondering if anyone has ever used the Avantis Rod or Reels? What are your thoughts? Is it worth the investment? Any insight would be much appreciated! PS: I have a MUSKY ROD I wanna TRADE for a 7' MEDIUM or MEDIUM HEAVY Rod. Anyone got? PM ME!

  10. Mine is the 7'6" BPS model (2pc)... I think my buddies was Bill Dance 5'0"... pretty awesome that he caught 'em on UL's!!
  11. So, a buddy of mine has taken me to this place about twice now. I've caught on average (with my Ultra-Lights) 6inch bass, 4-5inch sunfish, the odd perch (5inches) and crappie (largest 9inches) all (at what I thought was the average) fish caught out of the lake, hence why I bought only my Ultra-Lights. Buddy, rigs up with a WHOLE worm under a float. And I'm thinking... Nah, its not possible he can get some nice sized fish outta here. I mean, I know they stock once a year... but I don't think its possible. Anyway, to make a long story short - he does his lil dance, and gets tangled often enough to annoy the avg. fisherman... And what do I say to him.... "You know what that means?".. he replies "What?".... I say "Your gotta catch a big one, watch!".... Well, wouldn't you know it... there ARE SOME BIG BASS outta this little pond! Enjoy the fish Pr0n! 1st Bass caught..(2 pics) [Pic 1 of 2] [Pic 2 of 2] 2nd Bass caught... [Pic 1 of 2] [Pic 2 of 2] .... Here are my DINKIES!! Fish 1 of 2 ...My "Biggest" of the day! We're hittin' up this place again on SUNDAY. This time, I'm coming PREPARED! ....."To be Continued...."....

  16. Hey Folks, Haven't posted in a REAL long time. Just had a general question (which I can't remember if I've ever posted before; tried doing a search but wasn't very helpful). Anyway, a couple months back my uncle and I went fishing @ Centre Island. While we were there, we saw these guys playing Frisbee Golf (Frolf as its called). and while watching them play (while walking the shoreline)... we've noticed them carry a "Frolf Harness". Which gave us the idea of using those to carry our lures around in (instead of those single straps) while walking from spot to spot. It would help A LOT on our shoulders to carry as a BACKPACK as opposed to a "over the shoulder" style type of deal... anyway.... My question to you guys is... 1) Has anyone tried using one of these before? (to carry your lures in) 2) Are there hareness' out there that'll be strong enough to carry a bag weight up to 15lbs? Here are a few links to some sites I've found... http://www.everythingdiscgolf.com/Backpack-Dual-Harness-Strap-p-4867.html http://gottagogottathrow.com/discgolf/fade-gear-weather-guard-harness-system-p-2082.html http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/53738-REG/Tenba_632_108_5001_BPH_L_Backpack_Harness.html I'm particular to the 3rd link - it looks to be more "sturdy" and "secure" in carrying more weight. I understand its supposedly designed for "Photography" use... but thought I'd replace the clips with Carabeaners or something. Anyway, if anyone can shed some light on this - It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! Rob (A2F)
  17. Sorry guys, but what is this "Grotto" you guys are speaking of?? Can anyone show me a link on google maps? PS: The link I provided in the beginning; is roughly where our campground is located. FYI
  18. Is there anything like a pier or something? Maybe in Tobermory? Something easily accessible for the public? (not looking for any secret spots)
  19. I'll be fishing primarily from SHORE... Is there anything promising? :S
  20. Hey Guys, I'm heading to Bruce Peninsula National Park in a weeks time and will be camping @ the Cyprus Lake location. I've tried to do some research online, but couldn't find much information. My question is, what kinds of fish can I expect to catch in that lake? It looks pretty shallow based off of Google Maps; Satellite view. I'm just trying to figure out ahead of time what to bring (trying to avoid bringing a lot of gear). Bass season is open by that time, isn't it? Anyway, If anyone could help provide some additional information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in Advance, A2F PS: HERE is a link from Google Maps.
