Hey Guys, I moved to the Brampton area not too long ago and I'm in search of some Tackle Shops in the area. I've done a search online and only managed to come up with 1 shop. The 1 I manged to find was called "Sport Fishing Tackle and Supplies" located @ 12 Finley Road (Brampton). Just a few questions... 1) Is Sport Fishing Tackle and Supplies" open to the public? or is it a warehouse of sorts? 2) Does anyone know of any local tackle shops in the brampton area? Hey Folks, I'm heading out to Cambridge this weekend to meetup with some friends. While the wives are doing their thing, the men are going to be heading out and possibly be doing some fishing - depending on water conditions. Can anyone be kind enough to provide an update on the water conditions? Is there still a lot of ice? or has most of it melted? We'd like to do some shore fishing. I live in Brampton, so I wouldn't be able to drive out there just to find out the conditions myself; otherwise I would. If anyone could provide an update, I would really appreciate it. I just moved to Brampton coincidentally - I'm going to be fishing that lake heavily this season! I'll keep you posted. 1st target of the season - Black Crappie!

So, because Sunday was a beautiful day, I wanted to take my little puppy (boxer) out for a walk. This would be his 2nd walk outdoors. Anyway, as I was out there - I drove past "Loafers Lake" in Brampton. Just a simple question here... Anyone know what species are in there? I've tried searching on the internet and couldn't come up with anything. Any help would be much appreciated...

Never used it. Why bother, when there are cheaper methods that can resolve this? When I but the smaller containers (2" Minnow) from Gulp!Alive, I just go visit my local Walk-In Clinic and take a few piss sample jars! Hahaha... Not filled of course!

I went for the 1st time Last Year - roughly around the same time you are going. Service: EXCELLENT - People there are VERY friendly, especially "MOM" (I forgot what her name was? hahaha - but people told me to call her Mom!) Guides: Terry was who took me out. Funny Dude! Give him a few beers, he'll treat ya well! LOL! Overall Rating: 10/10 Reason: Just had a great experience overall - VERY relaxing and no troubles with anything while I was there! PS: BRING A CAMERA! Lots of Photo-Opportunities around!

Hey - Was wondering if anyone knew of any Bait-shops in the Brampton area that might sell Live-Minnows? The only place I know of is Ang. Spec. in Mississauga - And his seem a little too large for Spring Crappie. Anyone can provide information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! Rob (A2F)

Hey Guys, Been trying to lookup some information regarding Loafers Lake in Brampton. Only managed to find the WFN post off a google search. Question: 1) Can anyone confirm the species caught there?
