went out last night(sat evening) to catch some carp, arrived at 7pm, fished till 8 and didnt get a bump, i losing hope till i get a light hit, ok so im thinking its just a dreadful bullhead, id rather cut the line then bring one of those in haha, i grab my rod and notice the line went slack i reel up, but dont feel much weight till i set the hook and bam the war is on, took me down to the end of my line, ( yup same line as last trip, same capacity, cant afford new line right now, went with what i had) so i litterally watch the run stop at the very very last wrap around the spool, i kept tightning the drag once nearing the end, it worked barely, that sure gave me a sweat, ok back to main problem, the carp ran right into some bushes and trees right beside me, dammnnn,ok so i strip down to my boxers again, and i edge my way to the cover, i manage to free up the line, and change its direction to head out in the open bay, phewww im in the clear now, lol, 15 min fight and i bring in this beauty, yep i got the sign and measuring tape, not sure how clearly the tape is seen but it was a 32 incher WARNING THS LAST PIC MAY BE GRAPHIC,THIS PIC WAS REAL INTERESTING, I SET THE CAM DOWN ON A LEDGE, GRAB THE CARP AND MOVE BACK INTO THE SHOT, AT LEAST I TRY, lol

my step dad and i met up with dsn today at our usual area, was a slow start till dsn yells hes got one on, lands it, a nice medium sized carper, after my step dad and i join him, we fish that spot for awhile, he says im gonna go check the other spot, next thing, hes battling a big carp,i help him land it, this forced my step dad and i to move over, again we fish for ahwile, then dsn says "im gonna check the other spot, and bam another on, all the time all my step dad and i are doing is wetting the line, later on we got many smaller ones, dsn ended up with 6 or 7, i got 2 or 3, my step dad caught his first carp... dsn leaves at around 12, so do the carp , haha, we get a few small ones after, but what happend next was incredible, as im fishing a dock i sit my rod down, and turn around, next i hear someone screaming HEY u got a fish, doh! my rod flies into the water, i just manage to grab the but end of the rod, fish lost, rod caught, ok so now i got my hope back up, nope, not a nibble for 2 hours, so i again lay my rod down, the rod once again goes for a swim DOH! as im watching my rod being dragged along the bottom, im stripping down to my boxers, im ready to go head first, lol, no need, the carp helps me out byt swimming toward the dock and not away, i put my whole arm down and got it! fish still on haha, fish landed, was an interesting day, WTG dsn, nice catches... here is dsn's big carp... sorry bout the yucki background, was sizzling out there today, no photohsop, imaging editor had to do, haha

i make rules, my parents listen to me, haha maybe creepy methods, haha jk

i got out today and met up with dsn (dennision) to do some carp fishing in his area, where hes a carp catching celebrity, lol, im telling you, people talk about him and his fishing skillzz, lol, anyway, we met around 8am and fished till about 3, in the early going it was quite slow until he brought out out some sweets for them carp, boy did they come in after that, i got 5 smaller ones in 40 mins, he managed 2, but the real treat was later in the day when we both hooked into 20 + pounders, now thats what we were looking for! it put up a great fight, almost spooled me, lesson learned, 5 mins later i see dsn's rod bend over and drap going wild, he landed a beauty, well here are some pix, and yes i remembered the OFC sign, wohooo! dsn has s few more pix to post later, what a day! i had a blast fishing with ya!
