Hey Superdad, I,m one of those guys in the pic. To bad you couldn,t have stayed,it was a SUPER day,but your right ,that wind was crazy. Congrats for just being out on Feb 1, but that boat was just alittle small for that day. I,m not going to tell the story because the boys are still out today ( just one long day for me is enough,getting too old for this).Heres just one pic,not to make you feel bad,but just to let you know,they were there.

Gotta love it here,muskies open till March31.Went out a couple of times with different guys ang hooked up with some good muskies. Enjoy.............

To many bird pictures...

After answering Musky Mikes post about still getting out at this time of the year,I met up with my buddy and we were on the water by 1pm. Four hours later,we had 3 muskies in the boat,all good fat fish.Due to very cold hands and the wrong setting on the camera ,the pics aren,t great,but you can still see how healthy the fish are.

Muskie time....just getting started........hope to have a post tonite

So we took out a buddy whose never caught a muskie, while muskie fishing(he,s caught a couple of crackers(under 40) while bass fishin).Got him a good one,then got him a better one.Man is he hooked.

Are you guys using your Okumas in the late fall, I,ve used a couple and they all freeze up late Nov into Dec. when the big fatties come out to play?

Get yourself a Penn 310 GTI,I have hundreds of muskies on this reel,never a problem. It doesn,t have a line counter,but one pass is 10 feet. For a reel your not going to use much,just learn to count passes.

So ,its alright for a writer to write a bunch of lies(just because its fishing and fisherman are all liars,worst than crackheads)he never checked out anything that the guy told him,also his editor did no checking. Very reliable newspaper there.The news is not supposed to entertainment,just the facts ma'am just the facts.So to me this isn,t about muskies,its about how people accept bull,what if this was a very important story and all the facts were wrong??????????????

Last Wednesday, the smallie fishing was the best all year.Between my buddy and I, we caught over 100 smallies between 3.5lbs and 5 3/4lbs. It was insane.We filled up the livewell with 4lbPlus fish ,took some pics,released them and filled it up again and again.We giggled like little girls all day long.

Tipping Bondy baits with beef jerky......I gotta try that..............
