I need to get the cottage all ready for the year and there are a couple things that I have never done and need some help on.
First - I need to prime the water pump when I turn the water on. I am assuming that I pour water down the outlet pipe and just switch it on, making sure it always has water until it starts pumping. Am I completely wrong I've never even looked at it before but I can figure most things out.
Second - We need to clean the chimney. I wanted to strap the kids to a rope and hang them down there but it didn't go over so well I am curious if those cleaning logs actually work or what my options are.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Went out this aft as well with the whole gang, after forgetting the boat keys when I went to Long Point
Jamie reeled in his first fish ever He didn't like it so much after he felt the slime
I think a day camp is the best bet. I wouldn't take them out in a personal boat for insurance reasons. Do some hiking/fishing day trips, fly tying, canoeing and have a perch charter as the last day possibly.
I am always willing to lend a hand.
I started out the trout opener by my oldest waking me up to go fishing We headed out around 8:30 to a spot 5 minutes from the house. I never really have any luck there for trout but today turned out to be a great day.
First spot I had a couple hits but nothing landed so we decided to try out our WGSF spot and ended up catching 16 between the 2 of us in the the hour. I love the colors on these little Browns, just wish I brought the good camera with us but the Blackberry does the job.
Off to Long Point for some perch with Jacob tomorrow!
It's not the price or the fact that it's not finished that's stopping it from getting sold, it's the fact that anyone sinking over 15 mil on a house is going to build one exactly how they want it built and not buy someone else's place (at least my clients are this way).
