  1. Good luck! If I'm out there I'll be crawling the shoreline so if I see ya I'll be sure to holler. Do you have enough room for two on your yak??? lol
  2. That looks like a very versatile craft. No wonder you're enjoying it so much! Curious if you hit Hammy Harbour with it yet. I've always exploring the harbour for bass would be pretty adventageous in a craft like yours.
  3. I've already pulled up a chair.
  4. Congratz Tybrad! But you never DID tell us the lure that worked for ya.. hint, hint, hint. lol
  5. A great report and very interesting stuff. Thanks for posting that. I love hearing about lakes and fishing from other parts of the world.
  6. Miami Dolphins! I'm also a fan of the Ti-Cats and Maple Leafs. Anyone see the trend here...
  7. Hamilton Harbour has some green herons. I see 'em when I'm carp fishing and usually towards the evening. A few years ago, I watched a bunch of 'em flying in formation a few off the water sorta pelican-like. Really neat.
  8. Nice job out there Drock and pretty sweet to get yourself a PB Smallie. Nice the way it gave you such a memorable fight too with the jumps.
  9. A terrific report and some terrific pics Bill. That was a pretty nice evening of fishing, eh? I sure feel bad about the one that got away from ya but, if they didn't get away occassionally, it wouldn't be a sport that holds us breathless during the fight. You really do well out there. Congratulations!
  10. I know the BIGMOUTH Buffalo resides in the lower Grand. It's native but must be having a tough time thriving there now because The Grand River Conservation Authority has it listed as a 'species at risk.' I have never seen either species of Buffalo, only from OFC member's posts. Goodluck in your quest!
  11. If it IS just a bowfin like many have commented, it's another example of the media not letting the truth get in the way of good story.
  12. That looks like an absolutely wonderful way to spend some quality time with your little girl. Don't know who would have enjoyed there day more, you of her! And congratz on her catch!!!
  13. A beautiful river. Glad you had some success on it. Now go get that bigger one that got away!
  14. I'm in the east end and believe me, they don't. I talked with one of their Reps on the phone a couple days ago and he told me no WFN until they complete their upgrades.
  15. Cogeco in Hamilton STILL doesn't offer it until they complete their digital upgrades within the next year. AAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Same fish or not, NICE CATCH! A couple( or one )real beauty river bass.
  17. Ya know, Vinnimon, I've targetted Crappie there and have never really had much luck. Now I know why. I've been using micro-grubs and such when I should have been using big jointed plugs! lol
  18. Now that's a productive hour of fishing, I'd say! Nice job. Great to have a tinny and a creek that's close by. That way, even with a long 'honey do' list, you always have time for a bit 'o fishing.
  19. ...and if you call in the next ten minutes, cuz you know we can't do this all day... ( lol ) You could do an infomercial for those Bassive! I'd buy!
  20. What was it thinking!??? Actually, I could be accused of doing the same sort of thing at the Mandarin buffet...
  21. Wow, what a post! And what fish!!! Thanks for that Solo. A terrific read and terrific pics of a terrific adventure.
  22. Wow, pics, videos and lots of fish. When you post a report, you post a report! Awesome job Rick and congratz to the two of ya on the great outing( and Tony of course ).
  23. Good you connected your first time out and in those conditions. Paris is a neat place to fish because there are a few good places downtown to have a bite and refreshments afterwards. Goodluck on your next trip.
  24. You're lucky especially living where you do and all those rivers! Good on ya.
  25. Beautiful , Bushart, just beautiful. Thanks for that. Funny, but I remember when you posted that a while back and have never forgotten it. Just a really neat scene( memory )that you captured. Thank you.
