Loomis E6X 822 DSR. They have been revamped so not exactly sure how they feel now. But I have an older one and enjoy it. Its a Mag-Medium.

First 2 posts after a Leafs loss: 1. Former Leafs fan who hates them but still watches the games. 2. An actual fan who doesn't think signing Tavares, Matthews, Marner. Nylander is a good idea. I concur its never good to be boo'd off the ice after losing to one of the NHL's bottom dwellers. But hey, teams do have god awful games from time to time or maybe even 2 of those in a row. In the big picture they are still top 5 (points wise) in the league and unless something drastic happens, are locked into to playing Boston in the first round. Are the Leafs a cup contender? Maybe? Depends what team shows up... but I wouldn't give it a hard no on being able to compete. Regardless... 2015-2016 we finished dead last. Seasons 3 removed from that finish, 70 games in we are top 5. Crazy to think though... top 5 in the league but 3rd in the division. So you have to remember it could always be worse..... you could be a Sen's fan. Jack Hughes is going to look great in a Av's jersey. GLG

Geezus. Another unbelievably bad 1st period. That’s it. I’m out. I am now a good hockey fan only. Leafs suck. Their fans are dumb. This thread is stupid.

People who say " I was a fan once" of any team in any sport will never truly understand what someone like myself or Chris is talking about and that's ok. Also I think being a fanatic and lunacy go hand in hand so that's not really an insult. Everyone is a fan of good things... hockey, food, fishing, weather etc. What a boring statement. When you are a true fan of a team, the highs are euphoric and the lows can crush your soul. I Personally wouldn't have it any other way. Stay off the wagon! GLG

Both for me. Golf after work once a week and then fishing on the weekend with my wife and boy. I enjoy both but if push came to shove... fishing would beat golf every time.
-
To be fair... the arena has pretty much been empty every other game of the year... so lets not think this is the norm for the Isles fans. (Last in the league in attendance in the 2018-2019 at 12k average) That said... I sure wouldn't want to play in that barn come playoff time!
-
Man.. that was a bit of a beating last night for the Leafs.... lets shake that one off. Could be worse though. 1. You could be in last place 2. You could have to trade away all your best players (because the don't want to be a part of your team) 3. Your future arena deal could go to crap O and just to put a cherry on top 4. Fire your head coach https://www.nhl.com/senators/news/marc-crawford-named-interim-head-coach-of-rebuilding-ottawa-senators/c-305356826 And that is just in a 1 month span!!!

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse this week.... boom! https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/lebreton-flats-redevelopment-dead-1.5035441?cmp=rss Easy with the venom Matt. Your team is bar none the biggest joke in all off Hockey.

He needs to keep looking down to read it since Eugene wrote it. What a puppet.
-
We have been telling you this for a while now Matt. Glad you finally figured it out on your own.
-
Bingo! Also when you do get get one, I recommend getting the roll of "bags" instead of pre-set individual medium or large bags. You can get a lot more bang for your buck out of the roll.

Nice buy. As Kratter stated... keep the shaft and belt clean. I do lubricate the components on the side of the motor that are visible. Also I clean it all out about every handful of trips. 3 years strong on my gen 2 Ulterra without any issues. Also if you decide to use an external transducer for the bow... there is a way to do it cleanly. I did a variation of this with a weed eater recoil. Works very well.
-
Original Power Pro. Spool your reel 25-50% with mono (depending on the application) and then put the braid on top.

Nice win for the boys. GLG

If that has the new Ipilot with bluetooth then yes it would be a very good deal. 24V would be great but 36 would be better. Especially if your camping on an island out on Nip with no way to charge your batteries..... the extra capacity would be useful. Also don't rule out the Ulterra when looking. I have been running one for the last 3 years and love it. Launching and trailing the boat is a breeze by yourself and not having to go to the front of the boat to pull the motor up is great. Both are great options. As for a sonar up front... I would say gps and standard 2d is fine. Save your DI and SI for the console unit.
-
Fishing for summer lake trout that is all I am using my sonar for. I don't agree with this statement at all! lol. Sonar for fish finding - DI and SI for structure.
-
Awesome pictures Dave. Cool animals.
-
Yes I wondered how deep it was good for. Would love using this for summer Lake Trout. With the boat Networked and rigged for Lowrance, it would a an expensive and timely cut over. Sure is cool though. Uncut still does it the best.

Beauty fish Chris. Lots of ice up that way already?

Boat looks great!

Not to upset when we lose Jake whether its to trade or to free agency. He is a turnover machine and should not be anywhere near a top 4 pairing. I have never liked him.... and just so we remember he was a large large part of losing game 7 last year. Give me anyone else who is defensively better and can make a good first pass. I would rather overpay for Nylander than overpay for Gardiner. Kap on the other had hes been one of our best players night in night out and that would be tough to lose... but this is the world we live in in a cap era. Just a reminder.. we are only in the 3rd year removed from a dead last finish and trending in the right direction. Win now would be great but with a core of Tavares, Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Reilly, and Freddie (assuming we get everyone signed long term) we should be good for a while. All that to say instead of constantly critiquing and wondering what we are going to do next... I am sure enjoying being consistently in the top 5 in the league standings and wining a lot of hockey games. We are in every game and will be a tough out come playoff time. GLG

In case there is any tie breaker needed you have to keep pouring it on unfortunately. It did get a little hard to watch near the end. I liked the fact that when Canada would score they would just go right to centre ice to get ready for the faceoff.... no celebrations. After getting waxed by the Fins in the pre-tourney we needed to send a message. Even though it was against lesser competition. Looking forward to the rest of the games... love this every year!

I guess it really depends on what you want to use the generator for. Purchased a Honda 2000w inverter 2 years ago for various occasional uses. Running Noco chargers for my boat, charging items, running power tools, basically just having portable power. When the storm hit Ottawa we lost power for 24 hours and I was able to run the fridge, chest freezer, and basement entertainment system for the duration without any issues. The Honda is whisper quiet, fairly portable and bulletproof. Obviously like any small engine proper maintenance and quality fuel is key. I feel like the 2000 size (or 2200W model now) is the most versatile since it is still a suitcase style and can handle a fairly large load. IMO its worth the investment. Also if you needed more power you can get another 2000w Honda Companion model and run them connected together for a 4000W inverter system with a 30amp plug. This would be a cheaper and more portable option than buying a 5KW inverter. Good luck

Always respect lakes you are unfamiliar with (NF)

Yup Nipissing and the french can get you. Watched a guy pull is beautiful Lund out of the water in Dokis and his S.S. prop on the Merc had all 3 blades crumpled. Skeg missing and I am sure the damage didn't stop there. Be careful out there and always have some sort of map on waters you have never been on!
