Sorry guys but this is my rant! Ok I will start with this.....my brother had to abruptly sell all his stuff and up and move his family from Alberta to Ontario. Him and his girl used to live in ontario. Now they are staying in peterborough with my parents temporarely. He wants to live in stoney creek. So he needs to get assistance to help with first and last months rent. By the way this is his first time having to collect assistance. Now he can't get a place to live without money and assistance won't give him any money with out a letter from a landlord. Now how is a person that needs money immediately to shelter his girl and son and feed them supposed to get any money with this loop hole in the system. Now there are hundreds of thousands of people abusing the system and a family in desperate need of money and they are givin this answer. I would help him out financially but I just lost my job right before my 90 day probation. Oh ya and the government should do something about that also so that companies are not allowed to do that to hard working people!

WOW...this woman really knows how to work the system...its to bad she doesn't care about the 4 member family she just took money from that is on the street homeless! This is a very good thread! I too get annoyed with all this cause I was a top Canadian track and field athlete right up until I was 26 years old....now if I was standing out front of a super market or CTC at age 24 asking for money would you feel the same way about giving your money away....doubt it! They know to send out the young kids and for most of them it is embarrasing to them to have to do it. When I was training I had to work 50-60 a week and train 30 a week and yes I know I was not a kid so I had to work but I never once begged for money or sold choco bars. I know we have to support or minor sport systems but that should be done thru the government and not the kids. Not much I can do about it so I won't say anymore. Thanks for starting this thread...got things off my chest and now I feel better....LOL.

just go the speed limit and you have nothing to worry about...plus you save on fuel costs too. Just leave early and leave yourself extra time to get places, its not hard to go the speed limit even thou people thik it is. Speed limits are there for a reason....to keep us safe, not piss you off cause it seems to slow!!!! The people that should be pulled over if they are speeding is parents with children in there vehicle. Why do people feel they need to go 130-150 with children in the vehicle....very iresponsible!

Freezing rain really bad here in Fort Erie. I had to cancel my trip up to Peterborough today and I hope some of you do the same. The roads are gonna get worse and its not worth the risk! Please Drive Safe today and tomorrow!

I agree with this....employment agency's are the worse....well at least in Niagara they are. They get the worse jobs you can imagine, and then pay guys 8 and 8.5 an hour to do these terrible jobs that make you feel like your worthless but you have no choice but to do them until another job can arise, otherwise you can lose your house and everything. Down here the company gets anywhere from $16-$19 per hour and only pays out $8-9 an hour. How do they expect people to live on this! Like HeadHunter said they only care about themselves!

I have experienced recently these lazy buggers....I have been working at a steel factory, never late, never call in sick, I worked about 100 hours overtime in 2 months, pulling a few 16 hour days working my tail off and just before my 90 days I get a letter saying my employment is terminated saying they have to much man power....well than get rid of the dead weight and guys that are eligle to retire!!!!!! Sorry guys but I have been fuming all weekend long and have had a headache for 3 days straight wondering what I am gonna do. To top it all off the day before I got my letter my foreman tells me I have no worries that I will make it past my 90 days...next shift....SEE YA. It kills me cause I finally get a steady job and buy a new truck and have always wanted one andnow have to sell it. It killed me on my last day knowing that it was my last day and walking past the lunch room only to see 3 guys sleeping in the lunch room . I have worked in a few factories and seen the lateness many times...like how hard is it to leave 10 minutes earlier....geez!! SORRY FOR TAKING OVER YOUR RANT BUT I HAD TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST!!!

I have sirius...you can get a fm interuptor (think thats what it is called) $20 in the US and $29.99 in canada at best buy....just follow the instructions...very easy, no static anymore. I have had my sirius for over 2 years, would never go back!

I think it is a great post....especially the timing...NEW YEARS....quiting smoking is one of the bigger resolutions and if this post could help even just one person it served its purpose, forget about negative posts, always some guy out there that gets bitter at anything. Good on ya Danbo. I posted once about how annoying it is when smokers just throw there cig butts anywhere they want to , a smoker jumped all over my back and said its his right to throw it where he wants...but this guy was the first to complain about garbage in his fishing spot. You can never amke everyone happy, but you made me happy with this post, and I hope a hundred people quit smoking from seeing these images because if you guys quit it not only lengthens your life but also the life of a non smoker who doesn't have to breath in that crap you smoke. don't they have a boom box for that model...I have sirius and have a boombox...if you had one you could hook it up to a battery pack with and outlet on it.
