Well I am not going to get into an argument about why or why not. Here is what I have been told. THe wild turkey population surrounding Penetang and Midland has exploded over the past 7 or 8 years (i regularly see about 30 + each day driving to work). The fisher has always been native to the area but their numbers were low. The Fisher was introduced to reduce the number of procupines and turkeys in the area. The turkeys have recently caused several motorcycle accidents in the area. I know it sounds a bit odd but that is the story I have been told twice now. The fishers in the area have grown very large and have been regularly eating domestic cats and dogs on a regular basis. I did some research and it is true that the fisher will eat turkeys (Coyotes, foxes and fishers are the main enemies of the adults. ), but what I have heard is that they are choosing to eat other things in the area (dogs/cats) instead. Apparently the domestic animals are easier prey. Am I sure about this story? No. Neither of my sources work for the MNR so take it for what it is worth.

F150 v6. Is that the 4.2 liter? My friend has an older f150 with a straight 6 4.9 liter 300 cu in and it is a stron engine. Don't think the 4.2 is as strong but I may be wrong How much are you willing to part with? Towing will cause your vehicle to drink no matter what yo buy. For you boat any of those will work. The 5 cylinder is not much of a step up, if at all. I saw a nice 04 dodge quad cab 2500 5.9 cummins diesel the other day. It is 4wd but less than $20k My buddy has the 4.8 in his silverado quad cab 4x4 and we pulled a 21.5 boat with a big i/O in the summer without a hiccup.

I heard for porcupines as well but also heard for turkeys. The Fishers are getting way too big up there. I think it was a Fisher as well. I have seen wolves and deer out in that same spot as well. The Wye Marsh is very nervous about school groups and kids in the park. They are really worried one or more of the fishers is going to attack a child. They don't hibernate and the amount of food in the winter in not as plentiful as in the summer.

Lots of big fishers around. I work up there too. Brought the Fishers in to eat Turkeys???? They don't eat Turkeys apparently. They do eat dogs and cats though.

I got some b-day money and I am looking to buy a good used survival suit. It must be coast guard approved and 1 piece. If anyone has one for sale in good condition I would be very interested.

I have had the same problem on my ice fishing reels. I hope I just solved it today. I bought a 24" ice fishing rod that is a casting rod. It has a trigger on it. I am going to put one of my old baitcasters on it. Should do the trick. It won't be a good set up for live bait but I will use it for jigging (jigging is when I get most of my tangles anyway)

I bought 2 rods from CTC Barrie South store. They are both the same. Quantum Response IM6. 7' Medium action 9 fuji guide split cork handle regular price $69.99 on sale for $19.99 These are decent quality. Not Loomis or St.Croix et al. but not bad. I do lots of smallie fishing so these will be great for drop shotting, tubing, and even throwing a senko. There are still about 7 or 8 left at the Mapleview store.

Is it by chance a nice big 20.5' fiberglass walleye boat with a 4 stroke Yammy on it? I have been looking at it as well. Sent a pic to my dad but he lives in Alberta. If it the same one I am looking, buy it. It is a sweet deal. Repo as well.

Yeah. It is a joke. I emailed him and he gave me a story of the boat being in Florida but was sold to a dude in Alaska who didn't have the funds but if I send him my name address etc the boat will be mine in 3 days. Sounds legit.

Yeah you are right. BJ has crazy skills. GSP was just too much for him on that night. That is what is great about MMA anyone can win. BJ will come back and be a very good LW fighter for some time. He needs to stay there because GSP is too big and strong for him right now. Even if BJ has the better boxing skills and jujitsu, GSP's strength and insane wrestling overwhelmed even the very talented Penn.
