Is there a motel just out of town? Man, the local ones would bite my wallet. Cripes,I stayed at the falls cheaper then what they want there. Also need to be pet friendly.
Thanks Bill.Im sure you know this water as well as I do,if not, better. The skitters were a be atcha.I can amagine what they would be like at the night bite. Still worth a try though.Let me know if you can make it out one afternoon.
At the creek by 6am. Plan was to walk about 4 km down. Boy has the forest growth gotten big in a short time. It was a bit of a trek, I have to say. I managed two small smolts. One a brown, the other a rainbow. I didnt bother with pics of them.Thought I would share some of the spots I fished.
Missed a nice fish at this spot.
Got my first one here today.
Picked the brown out of here.
Nice spot that didnt hand over a fish.
This I thought was a nice pic.Spring feed feeder.
Lost 3 flies today.Darn those over hanging branches.
Still nice to be getting out
Time for a snack and rest.Yep,slice of cold pizza and a drink.
Thought a fishless post,was needed.LOL
Hi back at ya bud.Hope all is well.
Just heard that it,s a great place to visit, and lots to do.A nice get away for me and the mrs,s. Oh,theres tell of great smoked meat and many preserves.
Thanks for the advise all.
Nice invention Lew.
The only thing I see is,the aluminum bracket is not strong enough. I see a musky bending that right over.If you can,IMO,see if you can get a brace bracket on it.From the base to the up right part. You can do this yourself as well.
Awhile back ,I had asked about this little town. Really looking forward to spending a weekend there.Should we be heading there now,or wait a few weeks? Cant wait to go there.
Thanks
Sorry,forgot the NF.
If you water and cut short, regularly, you dont get weeds. The grass gets too thick for them. Another thing, dont cut the grass next door. All the seeds from the weeds, will be transffered to you next cut,on your lawn.
Nice fish Aaron.
I remember a great day, back when I was a small fella, and pop brought home a real nice fish (wrapped in a news paper). We were all excited as he was. I will date it,1976. Pop was so happy, along with my uncle and grandfather. They had been fishing that day out of PC. It was a Coho, and it was cleaned and cooked up for all to joy that night,by my grandmother.
Thanks for the post. Made my night.
