Like I said Dave, it,s more for my left eye . Bright lights really effect it. I was able to buy these on a online auction for 1/3 the price. Lucked out.
Like I mentioned, the smoker was busy while I was away.
Spoils of yesterdays catch. Dry brine for 6 hours, rinse, rack, let sit in the fridge til 4am this morning. Pop in the smoker with a pan of apple chunks, another added when I got home.
I bought a pair of these last week. I got to use them this weekend . With my left eye as you all know, having glaucoma and surgery repair, the bright lights these days are bad for me. It was recommended that I buy and try a pair of these. I have to say, what a great relief. Like I said,I used them this weekend during my early morning drive to the river. They knock that super bright head lights down to a dim. Not blinding anymore. I also wore them home this morning during a overcast day. They sure brighten up the light. When I got home and took them off, man it was really like day and night. I would recommend anyone that has the same blinding issues I have . Worth the money I spent on my pair. I even got a nice cleaning cloth and hard case.
I can see clearly now ,the blinding light is gone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I would say I am surprised, but I am not,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I have seen videos where guys use them as a battery pack for their small trolling motors .
Missed on the river this morning Harold. Never seen so many guys and so little fish.LOL
I believe Mike ( Solo ) does that . He had mentioned it on an old thread. Cabelas had 100 yard 20 & 30 lb dacron backing in floro green cheap . I just did up one reel with it.
What a $^$@#^# hole. That is criminal and there has to be some jail time for sure. Say good bye to that boat too.
Hope there is better video captured. Like those that were right beside the #@% tard.
Well purdy stuff ordered. Going neon blue backing with Sun Line hi vis tangerine main.
🤩
And to my other post about that hollow pencil lead. They had 1/8 and 3/16. Got 2 spools of each. I should be good for a couple of years with that stuff, unless my son goes through my stuff and finds it . LOL J/K, I will share with him.
Have read to stay away from that. It will not sit on the reel tight like dacron will and will lead the main line get clinched in it,s self.
Yes,I seen that on the center pin anglers site. I like purdy, but the fish do not care. LOL
I know I should probly know this . Can I use the same backing line I use on my fly reel ,on a float reel ? I have lots of it right now. I just thought I might get away from buying new backing line for the new reel .
