  1. The added pictures made the report Rich. I was waiting for them . Good people there.
  2. These ones Rick?
  3. Getting some help from a friend about where I could launch the toon with parking on a lake,I headed there this morning. I always love fishing this section of the lake. Mostly it,s sight fishing, but is hard to do while your sitting at water level. I did get a good view though. I could see most of the areas if there were fish around. Managed to get my morning glory sunrise. This makes my mornings like I have said over and over. LOL Knowing this was a weekday, but still summer holidays for many,I was very surprised I had a 2km stretch of waters that never seen a boat til 11 AM. I manged my way down ,zigzaging through the area. I came upon a rock shoal that was holding many many small baby bass. Looking back now,I should of had my pole extention to take a vid It was cool to see. The fishing was very slow. I,m thinking the full bright moon had something to do with this. It allows the fish to feed at night with a bright moon as it was. Deer hunting with a bright full moon the night before, can have the same effect. They will move and feed during the night. I did have a nice walleye follow a spinner bait. It swam around for a few seconds. Threw a tube, but it just flashed off. I would say it was 8-10 lbs. Real fat one. The only one I caught on vid.. This one got off right at the toon. Both trebles got caught on the pontoon. No holes thank goodness. Those covers are pretty tough. Anyways, that,s my four days of relaxation. Back to work Tuesday, but I cant wait for Saturday to travel to a lake I was thinking about today. When I had the boat,a beaver dam stopped me from getting further up the lake. With the toon,oh ya,I,m getting over it. Edit to add,,,,,,,, Bonus ,All that flipping and rowing for 4 days,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Another 4 pounds lost.
  4. The start off sucked, but the rest looked awesome J. My favorite pic. Does Roy use both arms to control that monster till? LOL
  5. I agree. My points are made from watching the video.
  6. I know that J. He,s done the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAqHJeDuuPA
  7. At 36 sec. He goes up Front tires dont lie. IMO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0F9VRz0sn0
  8. I have watched it over and over as well. Disturbing. Watch the first car. Straight through. Tony swerved. Im not saying he did it on purpose. But you can see he went up. A very sad day. Drivers in any race,,should just stay put. Added note,Tony is a loose canon these days. Everytime he gets wrecked or causes one,he looks to blame others.
  9. That looks so yummy right now. Licking me chops.
  10. Get a toon. (pontoon) Your fishing is endless in one.
  11. Sad day for Tony Stewart. I watched the video. It sure looks like he turned into the young man. Just saying. Turned my stomach

The audio is telling as well. The camera operator seemed to think he accelerated before impact.

Does anyone think Tony would actually try to hit the kid? The rear end stepped down before impact, it didn't go up the track.

Running out onto a live racetrack...darwin award worthy for sure. Save the confrontation for the pits next time

  12. Yes the cost for us up here adds up. When I lived in Etobicoke,,I went to a lot of leaf and jays games. Jump on the under ground and we were there in no time. Hope Ryan gets a real big fish (bigger then yours) on the new set up. Shouldnt be hard to do.
  13. Thats a great report Rob. Whats the issue these days with the dome not filling up? Like it,s not even 1/3 most games. The prices are cheap enough IMO. Any Raptor/Leaf games, are sold out.
  14. LOL Started the morning jigging for lakers and whities, but for some reason, there was current on this side of the bay today,so it was hard to mark our jigs. Gave it a solid hour and a half then moved in for some smallies and pan fish. Another amazing sunrise. Here ya go Steve. All released. When the water gets a bit colder,I,ll be keeping me a feed. A sample of the 50+ we got this morning. When I say this morning,I mean 6 AM til 11 AM. That,s a 5 hour work out. Caught from 15-40 fow. One more day. Looks like it will be another great forecast to be fishing.
  15. The wind looks like it will be nil Sunday. Still want that laker on the toon. I have a spot for day four. Cant wait to get out there.
  16. Been needing a real break from work,I decided to book a 4 day long weekend. So I calls up me bud and say lets get out. SURE. So we decide to go to G Bay for some rigg,n and hit some pike and bass after, Marked loads of fish, but they didnt seem to want to play. Well one did. After a few hours of watching a screen that looked like it was on simulater, we decided to pull up and head for some bass and pike.. Didnt take long til we were on them. A couple of fish on, and couple of lost spinner baits and tubes to the toothy critters. Terry got him a nice pike and I a bass and a pike on a tube. All released til the last pike. Terrys mrs,s want a pike fry,so we kept the last one of the day. Day one was in the books and it was as always, an entertaining day. Thanks PAL
  17. I had a fellow co-worker ask me to come fishing on a small back lake. When he told me the name,I told him those big bass are gone. But an invite is an invite. Txt him this morning to double check on hook up time and that I was close. I get, babies sick. No can go. No worries,Im here to fish. Since I was already close to the lake and wasnt going to turn around,I headed to planned lake. I use to fish this lake 25 years ago or more, out of an old tin canoe. It was a blast back then. 10 years after that, the fishing had depleted big time It still looked sweet, even 15 years later (thats how long it,s been since I have been there). There are a few fancy cottages on it now An added road that surrounds it, and tinnys laying on shore at the access point.. Guess it,s not a back lake anymore.. Talking to an older cottage owner as Im setting up my toon,,he tells me they come and take stringers full. We talked about the hay days. He was surprised I knew the small lake back when. He,s been on the lake since 1970. Family owned. We continued to talk for about 15 minutes or so as I was setting up. He was commenting on my toon. I told him it was a pontoon. Great for spots like this. He blurts out,you got to be a looney toon to be out on that contraption. Boy,did that bring back a memory of my grandfather.LOL We shake hands and thank each other for the talk, and I was off and about. Im playing with video these days to tell my fishing days. I find it more enjoying. Hope you enjoy. There are lots of small ones. Lets hope one day,it gets back to the hay days,it once was.
  18. OH OH OH They were there,oh yes they were there. Graph was full today. Lost a bow,but that was it. Oh they were there today. Need to figure out what they want. We had the depths covered. Think we washed every spoon we had.. My lucky half chrome/water melon didnt even produce. Ran 10 lb main. That aint going to spook them, as it,s the same I run on Simcoe.
  19. Day one complete. It was fun. 4am wake up call saturday, and on the road for what I have been told, will be nickle day buckets. Time will tell.

  22. Half day of work to complete, then it,S 4 days of traveling and fishing. And the weekend looks MARVALOUS.

  23. The pressure from P3TA groups, will do this.
  24. Wow,nice bonus there Colin. That would be a bucket list checked off. Like others,Canada has so much to offer. I would would be happy with a week of hand jigg,n cod out east. What ever you chose, have a good one and look forward to the report. B
