  1. I have come to just let them pass now Brad. It is what it is. This was once a great small lake fishery. I enjoyed it some many years ago. Was a great bass lake. The internet has taken care of it not being no longer. Over fished and over pressured now. Yes there are still fish, but nothing like in the late 80.s early 90.s.
  2. The games are what it is. Im not sure if the city/ province will win or not with this. I cant wrap my mind around this though,,,,,,,,,,,,, Toronto Pan Am Games security to cost $247-million How is this covered and by whom? Seem outragous to me. Another question, as I have tried to find it and cant. Where the events are held. Like say, Hardwood Hills in Oro Medontie. Do all ticket sales or partial of the funds, go to the event holder or township?
  3. Doug The next time I do one, I will remember to take a vid. It,s not that hard. That venison roast would of loved a nice blanket. That looks very wholesome Rick. Is that barley I see in the mix? Tonight was left overs. Sliced the rest. 1" thick and had on toasted buns. Some lettuce, tomatoe fried smoked ham. COMFORT FOOD.
  4. Up early to beat the traffic down. Must of been early, cuz made it down in 80 minutes. Problem though, there is still fluid where they need to finish up. So back down Wednesday.
  5. I forgot to add, I was sitting watching the tube and realised I forgot to layer in the smoked ham . Oh well, sandwiches for the next couple days.
  6. HMMMM Is that where I think it is? Great pics and yes, I like to tuck behind the reeds so no one sees me catching monsters. Nice Rob. Enjoyed.

99 OUT OF 100, for the capture on the first shot. I gave you 99,due to, you missed the dive, the snatch and grab. SUPERB.
  8. Give me time to digest atleast John. I have to say, I nor the mrs,s, were not disappointed. Turkey and savory blend was awesome. Timing was perfection. All came together at the same time to enjoy all at it,s fullest. When I cut into my first piece of turkey loaf and took my first taste, the mushroom just screamed out. OMG. The savory sauce. well, it added even more . Candy yams kicked. Even drizzeled the candy sauce over the brocc and it made for a nice sweet addition. Im stuffed just like a turkey. I leave you with pics of no aroma or flavor. LOL Sweet taters sprinkled with brown sugar, pepper, sea salt and melted butter. Cream sauce. Fried chopped mushrooms in butter, olive oil savory, pepper and some flour. The beast Crisping off the bottom FOOD PORNO The end result. Cant seem to find a drool image. Im off all week. Nothing to do but cook, since I have to be layed back,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,More to come. Enjoy
  9. Dont want to jinx myself Glen, but my TARGET eye, is good to go still.
  10. LOL Brudder, she cant get that high, reason for the step.LOL
  11. Yes. Todays price was cheap. I cant believe though how much it can compare to ground beef now. Use to be so cheap to buy. Oh sir, bite your toung. It goes on the BBQ, indirect heat at 275 for 3- 3.5 hours. I just finished a nice glaze to put over it about a half hour ago. The yams will be soaked in water and seas salt for about an hour, then put in a dish, covered with brown sugar then put in the BBQ as well. About a half hour before the roast of beast is done. Now drool on that and get another napkin. LOL
  12. LMAO John Thanks for the input. Im sure I could make my own. It will be awhile before I get back to fabricating anything. Im looking at a solid one step. This wouldnt of happen if I didnt have to let the mrs,s drive my truck. When she gets in the passanger side, I just hold her hand and yank her in. LOL
  13. Ok, looks like I need some for the truck as the mrs,s needs some aid getting in. My question is, whats out there that I can install myself for a fair price. 2014 Ram single cab short box. Would sooner buy direct from a retailer, not on line. Thanks
  14. I finally have the hunger for a good feed. So like my banquet cheese burger roll, I have made a turkey club roll. Pretty much the same way to make, except the one main ingredient. The only savory I use. I added that to the meat blend . The rest is the same as before, except more filling and some fried srhooms. Once it,s ready to eat, the slices will be smoothered in a savory cream sauce. It will be joined with some sliced baked candied yams and broccollie. It was a bit of a challange making today with just one good eye. Got frustrated a bit, then relaxed and got it done. There ya go John, now get back to the kitchen.LOL Edit to add I was thinking of putting a bread stuffing in it. Thought maybe it would come out mushy. Food for thought though for next time.
